πŸ’› EVERY STEP GIVES HOPE

I am honoured to support and share the Uriella the Light Kids Cancer Charity Run 2026, taking place on 13 September 2026 in support of children battling cancer.
All proceeds from this initiative will go directly to KidzCan, helping to provide much-needed support to children with cancer and their families.

As a mother who has personally experienced the painful reality of childhood cancer, this cause is very close to my heart. No child should fight cancer alone, and no family should have to carry this burden without support.

You can support this worthy cause by:
πŸ’› Participating in the run
πŸ’› Sponsoring the event
πŸ’› Making a financial contribution
πŸ’› Sponsoring someone to participate
πŸ’› Sharing this post to help spread awareness

Every step and every contribution can make a meaningful difference in the life of a child battling cancer. πŸŽ—οΈ
Please see the attached poster for the event and registration details.
Run for hope. Run for life. πŸ’›

Today, Stargirl Light shines a little differently. πŸ’œβœ¨

Today would have been my daughter Renah’s 18th birthday.
Eighteen. Such a beautiful milestone. A birthday I once imagined celebrating with excitement, laughter, photographs and dreams about her future.
Life wrote a different story for us.

So today, I celebrate her in the way I still can. I carry her name. I carry her memories. I carry the love she left behind. And most importantly, I continue being her Mummy.
Stargirl Light was born from a journey that changed my life forever. Behind every post, every message of awareness and every little bit of hope I share here, there is a girl whose light continues to inspire me.
Her name is Renah. She is my Stargirl. πŸ’œ

Happy 18th heavenly birthday, my beautiful girl.
Your light did not end when your life did.
It continues to shine through everything you left in us. ✨
Today, we celebrate 18 years since you came into this world and changed mine forever. πŸ’œπŸ¦‹

The Quiet Seasons After CancerπŸ’œπŸ•Š

Sometimes, cancer doesn't just change a diagnosis.
It changes friendships. It changes priorities. It changes the way you see time, people, and life itself.
There are seasons when those of us who have walked this journey become quiet not because we have nothing to say, but because life asks us to carry more than words can explain.
But one thing I've learned is this...
Every quiet season teaches us something.
It teaches us to treasure the people we love. It teaches us that health is a gift. It teaches us that kindness matters because everyone is fighting a battle we cannot see.
So today, I'm choosing to show up again.

To keep sharing. To keep raising awareness. To keep honoring every family whose life has been changed by cancer.
Because every story matters. Every voice matters. And together, we continue to shine a light where there is hope.

In loving memory of my beautiful Stargirl... your light still leads the way. Forever 16. To Infinity & Beyond.

πŸ’›πŸŽ—οΈ DID YOU KNOW? πŸŽ—οΈπŸ’›

Sarcoma accounts for only a small percentage of all cancers, making it a rare disease. But for the families affected by it, sarcoma is anything but rare.

Behind every diagnosis is a person.
Behind every person is a family.
Behind every family is a story.

Because sarcoma is uncommon, many people have never heard of it until it touches their lives. That is why awareness is so important.

The more people know about sarcoma, the better the chances of earlier diagnosis, better support, more research, and ultimately more lives saved.

This Sarcoma Awareness Month, take a moment to learn, share, and help spread awareness.

πŸ’› In memory of Renah Ellidah.
πŸŽ—οΈ In honor of every sarcoma warrior.
✨ Because rare cancers deserve awareness too.

πŸ’›πŸŽ—οΈ UNDERSTANDING SARCOMA πŸŽ—οΈπŸ’›
SARCOMA AWARENESS MONTH

Many people have never heard of sarcoma until it affects someone they love.
Sarcoma is a rare type of cancer that develops in the body's connective tissues, including bones, muscles, fat, tendons, blood vessels, and nerves. It can affect both children and adults.

There are more than 70 different types of sarcoma, but they are generally grouped into two main categories:
πŸ”Ή Soft Tissue Sarcoma develops in muscles, fat, nerves, blood vessels, and other soft tissues.
πŸ”Ή Bone Sarcoma develops in the bones and is more common in children, teenagers, and young adults.
⚠️ Common signs and symptoms may include: β€’ A lump or swelling that continues to grow β€’ Pain in a bone or muscle β€’ Unexplained swelling β€’ Persistent fatigue β€’ Difficulty moving a limb β€’ Unexplained fractures
Because sarcoma is rare, symptoms are often mistaken for sports injuries, growing pains, or minor illnesses. This can delay diagnosis.

πŸ’‘ Why awareness matters: Early diagnosis can improve treatment options and outcomes. The more people know about sarcoma, the more likely they are to seek medical advice when symptoms don't go away.

For me, sarcoma is more than a medical term. It is the disease that took my beloved daughter, Renah Ellidah. That is why I continue to raise awareness, educate others, and support families facing this difficult journey.

πŸŽ—οΈ Awareness saves lives. πŸŽ—οΈ Education empowers families. πŸŽ—οΈ Research brings hope.
In memory of Renah Ellidah. For every warrior still fighting. For every family affected by sarcoma.πŸ’œπŸ•Š
