KATYAYANI one of the forms of the Hindu goddess Parvati, and she is particularly associated with the warrior aspect of the divine feminine. She is the sixth of the nine forms of Goddess Durga, collectively known as the Navadurga, worshipped during the festival of Navratri.

Goddess Katyayani is believed to have been born as a result of the collective energy of all the gods to slay the demon Mahishasura, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. She is often depicted as a fierce warrior goddess riding a lion, with four or ten arms carrying various weapons such as a sword, trident, and lotus.

In Hindu mythology, Katyayani is also associated with the fulfillment of desires, especially in terms of love and marriage. Young women often worship her to remove obstacles in their path to finding a suitable life partner.
