We aren’t aiming to be calm all the time. We aren’t aiming to always have the answers. What we ARE aiming for is awareness

Awareness gives us space. Awareness gives us capacity. And capacity gives us CHOICE.

Hit ❤️ if you’d like to be able to live in this way.

"What's happening to me?"

It's a question I hear from so many women.

They've always been organised.
Capable.
Reliable.

Then, almost without noticing, things start to feel different.

You forget appointments.
You read the same email three times.
You lose your train of thought halfway through a conversation.
Simple decisions suddenly feel overwhelming.

It's easy to assume you're becoming less capable.

But what if that's not the story at all?

When your nervous system has been carrying chronic stress for a long time, it naturally shifts its energy towards protection. That means there's often less capacity available for focus, memory, planning, creativity, and clear decision-making.

This doesn't mean you're losing your ability. It means your brain is doing exactly what it was designed to do, help you survive.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching women realise that the capable, confident version of themselves was never gone.

As they rebuild their capacity through emotional regulation work, nervous system education, and breathwork, something beautiful happens.

The mental clarity returns.
The confidence grows.
They stop questioning themselves.
They begin recognising themselves again.

Because emotional regulation isn't just about feeling calmer.

It's about creating the conditions for you to think clearly, lead confidently, make decisions with greater ease, and reconnect with the person you already are.

✨ I'm curious... Have you ever mistaken overwhelm for losing your ability?

Have you ever wondered where your motivation went?

Maybe it didn't disappear. Maybe your nervous system has simply run out of capacity.

When we're emotionally depleted, even simple tasks can feel overwhelming.
- Not because we're lazy.
- Not because we're unmotivated.

Because the brain is prioritising survival over performance.

This is one of the biggest misconceptions about burnout. We think we need more discipline. Often, what we really need is more regulation.

Through emotional regulation work, nervous system education, and breathwork, I help women understand what's happening beneath the surface so they can rebuild their capacity from the inside out.

💫 You don't have to wait until your body forces you to stop. You can learn to listen while it's still whispering.

Sometimes we want connection so much that we slowly start giving pieces of ourselves away to keep it.

We say yes when we mean no.
We stay quiet when something doesn’t feel right.
We make their feelings more important than our own.

And often, we don’t even realise we’re doing it.

Connection shouldn’t continually require disconnection from yourself.

Poll:
Have you ever caught yourself doing this?

The moments we carry the most guilt are often the moments we needed the most support.

Many mothers carry an impossible expectation: to always be patient, always calm, and always have the right response.

So when they lose their patience, raise their voice, or feel overwhelmed, the guilt arrives almost instantly.

"I should be coping better."
"Why can't I stay calm?"
"I'm letting my children down."

But what if those moments aren't a reflection of how much you love your children?

What if they're a reflection of how much your nervous system has been carrying?

When we're emotionally depleted, our capacity becomes smaller. The smallest requests can feel enormous. Our patience is harder to access, and we find ourselves reacting in ways that don't reflect who we truly are.

This doesn't make you a bad parent. It makes you a human being whose nervous system is asking for care.

One of the things I love most about emotional regulation work is that it isn't about becoming a perfect parent. It's about becoming a more present one.

A parent who can pause before reacting.
A parent who can repair after difficult moments.
A parent who shows their children that mistakes don't define us, what we do next does.

Because children don't need perfection. They need to see what it looks like to return to ourselves with compassion.

Through emotional regulation work, nervous system education, and breathwork, I help women build the emotional steadiness that supports not only their own wellbeing, but the relationships that matter most.

💛 I'm curious... What's one thing you wish you understood about emotional regulation?

Capacity. That tiny detail we so often take for granted… until we reach that straw that breaks the camel’s back moment and realise we’ve run out. And maybe we can’t always lessen the load. Life is full, and there will always be things that need our attention.

But what if we could get better at noticing when we’re nearing our capacity, before we reach that moment?

Because when we notice sooner, we have more agency in how we respond.

We've been taught that resilience means pushing through.

- Working harder.
- Holding it together.
- Never letting anyone see us struggle.

But that's only half the story. True resilience also includes recovery.

Because without recovery... Resilience eventually becomes survival.

If you've been feeling exhausted, irritable, emotionally reactive, or disconnected, it doesn't necessarily mean you're failing.

It may simply mean your nervous system has been carrying more than it was designed to hold.

You don't need to become less capable. You need a nervous system that feels safe enough to recover.

💫 That's where lasting change begins.

📲 If you're ready to stop surviving and start feeling steady again, I'd love to support you.

Ah yes, I’m speaking to you ladies. Mamas, team leaders, partners, coaches, girl boss, daughters, friends, sisters.

You hold it all, you are the one they turn to, you’re there for everyone, you remember the to buy the loo paper, to pack the sports kit, you wipe the tears and calm the fears.

But who remembers you?

Who checks in on the woman doing all the checking in?

Today, save some of that care for yourself.

Not because you need another thing to add to your self-care list.

But because you deserve to be a participant in your own life, not only the person holding it together for everyone else.

You matter in the equation too.

If you’re usually the one holding it all together, leave a 🤍 below. No explanation needed.

Most women I work with didn't suddenly burn out. They slowly stopped listening to themselves.
- Ignoring the tiredness.
- Ignoring the tension.
- Ignoring the headaches.
- Ignoring the feeling that something wasn't quite right.

Until the body no longer whispered. It shouted.

One of the biggest shifts emotional regulation creates isn't simply feeling calmer. It's learning to notice yourself again.

To recognise the early signs that your nervous system is approaching its limit.

Because prevention is far kinder than recovery.

💫 Imagine responding to your body's whispers instead of waiting until it has no choice but to shout.

That's the work we do together.
