We had the best Friday ever at Dolphin.
Thank you to everyone who made our pancake fundraiser such a success. 🥞
Special thanks to , who volunteered her entire day, our superstar Amelia, our staff, Dolphin Coast volunteers, our neighbours at Two Rivers, Rowene for managing the cash point and fetching extra flour, Sr Helene for fetching more flour and Sergio for capturing the buzz of the day.
Thank you to Marianne, Merrilee, Dani, Mandy, Sue, Lin and Jackie for your generous donations.
To the communities of Kenton, Bushmans and surrounds, thank you for your incredible support, patience while waiting and for every pancake purchased. We truly appreciate you all. Are we doing this again! Absolutely ❤️🥞

We are having a pop-up pancake fundraiser this Friday 10h00-12h00.

Friday evening at Dolphin was wonderful! We were treated to the most delicious pizzas care of David and Sarah Wilson and the team at in town. Piping hot and delivered in a flash by Kate, they went down an absolute TREAT. Even KitKat joined in the fun. Thanks so much guys, from big love from all of us 🍕💛

We had a happy visit at Dolphin from Rotarians Jeremy and Hazel , alongside Bella the Black Russian Terrier, (she had to assist as a safety officer🐾) helping out with refreshing the safety striping on our property.
Making sure that there are clear markings on steps, doors and gates make a real difference, helping prevent falls and making our space safer to move around, day or night.

We are bowled over by the care and compassion of Hi-Tec Coastal Security. Chris, Mark and the whole team, your latest installation of 4 new cameras at Dolphin, have made such a huge difference for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We are indebted to your kindness and support.

A huge thank you to Hilton, Janet, Alan and all the members of Kenton Bowls Club for their incredibly generous donation to Dolphin. Surprises like this remind us just how lucky we are to have such a caring community around us.

Asanda has been a vital part of our Dolphin family for three years, starting out as a relief staff member before stepping into a permanent role in November 2025. As a true "all-rounder," she does it all with the most gorgeous smile, whether she’s serving up breakfast, keeping things s***k and span, or jumping in to assist any department wherever she’s needed.

Asanda brings incredible energy to everything she does! Outside of work, she loves to unwind by watching movies and reading her Bible, especially since workdays keep her busy.
We asked her what her favourite song was - “it’s Mama" by Boyz II Men” of course, and she loves aerobics and netball.
Thank you for being such a valuable member of the Dolphin family Asanda. We appreciate you.

Say hello to Nokuthula, who’s been part of our Dolphin family for 3 years, and she keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Nokuthula’s superpower is creating a home within a home. She believes every resident deserves to live in a space that feels fresh, clean, and comfortable, and she goes above and beyond to make sure that happens, every single day. “I want residents to feel at home,” she says, “in a clean environment where they can feel comfortable.”
When she’s not at Dolphin, you’ll find her at Old Apostolic Church on Sundays, spending quality time with her boys, or out on a date night with friends. Family is everything to her.
