As Tutuse Community Project NPC, we are excited to announce our upcoming Heritage Day Community Events taking place in two rural communities in the Eastern Cape:

Ngqanda Community Hall

These special days are about celebrating our heritage while bringing hope, dignity, and happiness to vulnerable community members, including elderly citizens, children, and people living with disabilities.

We want these Heritage celebrations to be filled with:

🍲 Food and refreshments
🎁 Goodie gifts and support packages
🤝 Community connection and the spirit of Ubuntu

Honouring Our Heritage, Building Partnerships, Creating Hope 🌿👑

We had the great honour of visiting the house of the Matanzima Clan at EQamata, a place of great historical and cultural significance in Cofimvaba, where we paid our respects to uKumkani wamaXhosa and the Royal House.

The visit was a meaningful opportunity to honour our roots, culture and traditions, while also sharing our community development initiatives, future plans and our vision of bringing hope, dignity and opportunities to rural communities.

We are deeply grateful for the powerful guidance, wisdom, support and advice shared with us. The encouragement reminds us that true development is built through unity, respect, partnerships and a commitment to serving our people.

As Tutuse Community Project NPC, we continue to walk a journey of Ubuntu — supporting learners, elderly citizens, vulnerable families and rural communities across the Eastern Cape.

Together, through collaboration and shared responsibility, we can create a brighter future for generations to come.

🇿🇦 This Mandela Day, we want to put a computer in the hands of a rural child who's never touched one.
Across 5 villages in the Chris Hani District — Maqhashu, Ngqanda, Nomadambe, Ncora-EJojweni & Tsomo — Tutuse Community Project is training youth and persons with disabilities in digital skills. But we need machines to teach on.
Our ask: 20 used computers or laptops. We'll refurbish them ourselves and turn them into futures.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude!
On this Mandela Day 2026, BMW IT Hub South Africa has blessed our communities with an incredible gift — 644 pairs of school shoes donated to Tutuse Community Project NPC.

These shoes will be distributed to learners at four schools in the Transkei, Eastern Cape:

✅ Tsomo High School
✅ Lower Ncora Primary School
✅ Zwelihlangeni Primary School
✅ KwaMhlontlo SSS

Every pair represents dignity, opportunity, and the spirit of Ubuntu. Many of our learners walk long distances on dusty rural roads to reach school — this donation will carry them further than they know.
