It's not something most of us enjoy thinking about, let alone talking about. However, taking a little time now to put your personal funeral wishes in writing could make things so much easier for your loved ones when the time comes.
At SAFAS Lowveld Funeral Undertakers, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to have their wishes known, whether those wishes are simple or more detailed.
That's why we are offering a **FREE Personal Funeral Wishes Record**.
This is an opportunity to write down your personal preferences and instructions for your funeral, so that your family and the funeral undertaker have a better understanding of what you would have wanted.
You can record your preferences regarding burial or cremation, the type of funeral service you would like, your preferred church or venue, your favourite hymns or music, special readings, flowers and any other personal requests that are important to you.
You can also include important family contacts and other information that may be helpful when arrangements need to be made.
**PLANNING AHEAD DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN PAYING AHEAD.**
We understand that not everyone is in a position to make financial arrangements for a funeral in advance. But that shouldn't prevent anyone from putting their wishes on record.
There is no cost to complete this form, no deposit and no financial commitment involved.
This is not a prepaid funeral plan, and there is absolutely no obligation to arrange your funeral with SAFAS Lowveld.
Once completed, you are welcome to keep a copy for yourself, share it with your family or give it to whichever funeral undertaker you choose.
Our aim is simply to offer something useful to our community, helping families have a little more peace of mind and providing guidance when they may need it most.
We recommend keeping your completed form somewhere safe and letting someone close to you know where it can be found.
