πŸ“ SARAA Congress 2026 | 7–10 May 2026

Prof Christa Janse van Rensburg participated in the opening plenary session honouring Prof LAN Myers, regarded as the father of Rheumatology in South Africa πŸ’™

Her presentation explored the connection between rheumatology, sports medicine, exercise, recovery, and long-term patient wellbeing, while reflecting on how compassionate, patient-centred care continues to shape modern healthcare.

A powerful reminder that movement, recovery, and health exist on a continuum β€” and that exercise medicine has an important role to play far beyond sport πŸ™Œ
