The antibiotics didn't work unfortunately so we're trying something else, a little stronger, with awful side effects. Holding thumbs and praying that it works. We don't want Megs to go to hospital for treatment.
We still have to meet with the specialist about the reconstructive operation and what it entails.

Megs is doing very well. The stitches have been removed and she returned to school yesterday.
Lab tests that were done to find out what type of bacteria she has in her bladder came back. She is getting intravenous injections for 7 days to clear it up. Unfortunately she do need a reconstructive operation to prevent further infections.
We'll find out more about this in due course.

We're going home🤗

Megan was in theatre for 2 hours today. She went in for a laparoscopy, cystoscopy, hysteroscopy and laparotomy.
There were many growths caused by previous operations that the doctor cut away, so she had an operation. They found that her bladder is very big and cause for the pain as well as other reasons that is treatable.
The doctor was very happy and don't think that a further operation is needed at this stage 🙏🏻😄
Megs will be in hospital until Friday/Saturday and she is doing well.
