Roman Herman is a remarkable 25-year-old living with cerebral palsy whose resilience inspires everyone around him!

Over time, Roman outgrew his wheelchair, leaving him without the postural support his body required. When Hands4Change - H4C Outreach Project reached out to CE Mobility for assistance, a collaborative effort began to make a meaningful difference. As part of CE Mobility's ongoing commitment to improving lives through mobility solutions, the assessment fee was waived, a specialised wheelchair was sponsored, and a complete custom setup was provided to ensure Roman received the support he needed.

At the same time, Roman's family launched a Back-a-Buddy fundraising campaign. Through their generosity and support, the family successfully raised the funds needed, demonstrating the incredible impact that can be achieved when organisations, communities, and families come together💙

A heartfelt thank you to Hands4Change - H4C Outreach Project, everyone who contributed through the Back-a-Buddy campaign, and every individual who played a part in making this life-changing journey possible!

Recently, CE Mobility had the privilege of providing wheelchair product training at Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital in Vosloorus, Johannesburg.

The training was attended by therapists from the Gauteng Department of Health and combined both theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical sessions.

The focus was on the wheelchairs available on the National Tender, equipping therapists with the knowledge to understand the available options, prescribe the most appropriate wheelchair for each individual's needs, and correctly adjust the various components to ensure the best possible fit and function!

CE Mobility was honoured to support The Players' Fund at its Women's Day fundraising event, hosted at the beautiful Hotel Sky Cape Town. The afternoon was made even more memorable by the presence of the Stormers, who helped celebrate the incredible work of this remarkable organisation.

As a proud supporter of the Fund, CE Mobility is privileged to play a small part in helping many of the Fund's recipients regain independence through specialised mobility solutions. We were also delighted to host therapists from the rehabilitation units we work alongside, giving them the opportunity to experience this inspiring event and connect with others who share a passion for improving lives.

At CE Mobility, we believe that the right wheelchair can change lives and that starts with equipping therapists with the knowledge to make the best prescription decisions!

We had the privilege of hosting 30 therapists from the North Gauteng district at Kalafong Hospital in Pretoria for an intensive 3-day wheelchair training programme.

Our experienced CE Mobility therapists provided in-depth technical training on the specifications and clinical application of the wheelchairs available through the National Government Wheelchair Tender. The goal was to empower therapists to confidently match each client with the most appropriate mobility solution.

The final day was all about hands-on learning! Therapists had the opportunity to work directly with the wheelchairs, gaining practical experience in:
✅ Adjusting the centre of gravity
✅ Changing seat angles
✅ Modifying backrest heights
✅ Exploring the adjustability and features of different wheelchair models

At CE Mobility, we're proud to partner with healthcare professionals across South Africa to improve wheelchair provision through education, collaboration, and practical skills development.

Together, we're helping ensure that every wheelchair user receives the right wheelchair for their unique needs.
