BAOM is a Bio-Plastic company developed during lockdown, that is tackling plastic waste.

It comprises of 5 variations of films made from 100% organic and compostable matter that can be used to replace single-use and semi-permanent plastics for various applications. 1) Food Packaging; 2) Product Packaging; 3)Gardening 4)Rehabilitation Projects (our film provides nutrients and moisture to the root systems); 5) Interior design; Décor and home furnishings etc. The applications are endless.

We have been nominated by BioCITI (An NGO that enables scientists to create in SA) for the "Best New Comers 2023". We would so appreciate any votes to this; to help us get our name out; funds in and production scaled! We want to take our products to market ASAP and winning these kinds of competitions are part of the process of getting there!
