Life doesn’t always go the way we would like. But with meditation, we can learn to meet life’s challenges with greater peace, patience and inner strength.

✨ Everyone is welcome — no previous meditation experience needed.

We have classes in Westville, Hillcrest and La Lucia throughout the week. Swipe through the carousel to find a class that suits you.

One of the most inspiring aspects of the NKT International Summer Festival is the kindness that fills every corner. Hundreds of volunteers joyfully offer their time and energy, creating the causes for thousands of people to experience authentic peace and happiness.

Behind it all is the immeasurable kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, whose extraordinary vision and compassion have made these precious festivals possible for people from all over the world. 🙏❤️

Week 1 of the NKT International Summer Festival has been filled with magical moments – profound teachings, deeply moving meditations, volunteering, wonderful reunions with old friends, new friendships, and discovering the festival’s new Street Food area. ❤️
May everyone have the opportunity to experience such an extraordinarily blessed and meaningful festival.

Sunday’s Special Breathing Meditation Retreat was such a peaceful and enriching experience, learning to meditate by combining mindfulness of the breath with the recitation of a mantra.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and especially to our amazing volunteers whose kindness and dedication made the day run so smoothly. It truly felt like a family gathering.

Last weekend we enjoyed our Clear Sky Mind away retreat, spending time in meditation, contemplation and peaceful company.

Thank you to Gen Jampel for gently guiding us into the clear nature of our mind.

Thank you also to Lucie, Scott and the Pumula team for your warm-hearted hospitality and delicious food. Your kindness helped make the weekend so special.

We are already looking forward to our next Away Retreat and will keep you posted as soon as the dates are confirmed. We hope to see you there.

Away Retreat | Clear Sky Mind

What a deeply meaningful weekend together.

Meditating three times a day, we explored the nature of our mind—what it is, where it is located, and how it functions. As we deepened our understanding of how our mind creates our experience of the world, we dedicated all our activities to peace in this country and throughout the world. After all, without inner peace, outer peace is impossible.

Retreats like these offer a special experience that cannot truly be described in words—a beautiful inner journey.
