8 Financial Mistakes Your Parents Made — and You’re Repeating Without Knowing

1. Living Without a Financial Plan
Money was spent as it came, not directed with intention. Without a plan, income disappears easily.

2. Depending on One Source of Income
Relying on a single salary made finances fragile. Many people still fear building multiple streams.

3. Avoiding Financial Education
Money matters were ignored or seen as “too complex,” leading to repeated ignorance across generations.

4. Spending to Impress Others
Status buying drained resources—buying what looks good instead of what builds wealth.

5. No Savings Culture
Saving was postponed for “later,” leaving families unprepared for emergencies.

6. Fear of Investment
Investments were seen as risky, so money stayed idle or was consumed.

7. Poor Debt Management
Loans were used for lifestyle, not assets, creating long-term financial pressure.

8. No Retirement Preparation
Old age planning was ignored, forcing dependence on children later in life.

18 Money Secrets the Rich Don’t Tell You

1. Rich People Buy Assets, Poor People Buy Liabilities

Assets put money into your pocket; liabilities take money out. Wealth grows when your money works for you.

2. Income Alone Does Not Create Wealth

Many high earners are broke. Wealth is built by what you keep, invest, and multiply.

3. Money Follows Value

The more problems you solve, the more money you attract.

4. Saving Preserves Money; Investing Multiplies It

Money kept in a savings account stays small. Invested money grows.

5. Your Mindset Determines Your Financial Level

If you think small, you earn small. Prosperity starts in the mind.

6. Multiple Streams of Income Create Financial Security

Relying on one source of income is risky. Diversification builds stability.

7. Debt Can Keep You Wealthy or Keep You Poor

The rich borrow to acquire assets. Many borrow to fund lifestyles.

8. Delayed Gratification Is a Wealth Superpower

The ability to say “not now” creates a stronger “yes” in the future.

MINISTERS' MATERIAL
Why Ministers Should Not Fear the Use of AI

In the recent past, I have watched reels and read posts where some people have strongly opposed the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in sermon preparation. Or at all in the pulpit.

Allow me to share my position.

This is not the first time the Church has faced a technological shift head on. What intrigues me is that whenever a new form of technology emerges, the Church is often among the first to criticize it. I do not say this to insult anyone, but to point out an obvious pattern.

Please, technological advancements are not from the devil! Ideas, creativity, innovation, and the ability to solve problems are gifts that ultimately come from God. The issue has never been the existence of a tool. No. The issue has always been how people decide to use it.

I want us to look at a simple analogy. A knife. Simply put, it was created to prepare food and perform useful tasks. Yet people have also used knives to harm and even kill others. But the truth is that we do not condemn the existence of knives because some people misuse them. Instead, we address the misuse.

The same principle applies to technology.

I will take us a little back. When television first appeared, many believers refused to have anything to do with it, calling it "the devil's box." Certainly, television has been used to spread ungodly content. But it has also carried the gospel into homes, hospitals, prisons, and nations where missionaries could not physically go. To dismiss the entire concept because of its misuse, is to ignore the God given ingenuity that made it possible. It is simply counterintuitive.

Perhaps we give the devil too much credit at times.

When the internet and search engines became widely available, there were concerns about "Google sermons" and ministers who were no longer Spirit led. There was some truth in the warning and we get it. A preacher can become lazy and depend entirely on copied material. However, there is also a form of false humility that insists on digging with sticks and stones when picks and shovels are available.

And if excavators now exist, why insist that using a shovel is somehow more spiritual? You get it ka?

Look, AI is simply another tool.

It is a powerful assistant especially in research, that can help ministers organise thoughts, compare translations, summarise theological viewpoints, locate relevant Scriptures, improve grammar, among other things, and save valuable time.

I personally do not see why a minister should spend unnecessary hours searching through piles of physical books and concordances when trustworthy digital tools can assist the process.

But there is still a caution.

There is one thing AI cannot manufacture. It is called inspiration. Brothers and sisters, you can generate a beautifully structured sermon through AI and still have a message that is dry and lifeless. Why? Because sermons are not merely lectures. True ministry flows from the work of the Holy Spirit. Revelation, conviction, burden, discernment, and spiritual authority cannot be outsourced to a robot! Aikona!

AI can help you prepare a sermon, but it cannot give you an encounter with God. It cannot replace prayer. It cannot replace study. It cannot replace time spent in God's presence.

It cannot hear the specific instruction of the Holy Spirit for a particular congregation and season.

Therefore, the wise approach is not to reject AI nor to depend on it completely but to Pray. Seek God. Read the Scriptures. Receive inspiration from the Holy Spirit. Prepare your notes. Then use AI responsibly for formatting, additional research, language refinement, illustrations, fact-checking, and organising your material. Used in this way, it becomes an assistant rather than a substitute.

The Apostle Paul used the Roman roads of his day to advance the gospel. Later generations used the printing press to distribute Bibles. Others used radio, television, websites, mobile applications, and social media. Each generation has had to decide whether it would fear the tool or redeem it for God's purposes.

AI presents our generation with the same choice.

In short, let us use AI. But let us use it cautiously, wisely, and prayerfully, just as we have used the internet, Bible software, and countless other tools for their intended purpose.

We should not feel guilty for embracing helpful technology. The question is not whether we use tools. The real question is whether the Holy Spirit still leads us while we use them.

This article is not an endorsement of laziness in ministry. Rather, it is an invitation to combine spiritual depth with wise stewardship of the tools God has allowed humanity to develop.

We have lived in a Generation were at the same time men are wicked, they equally cares too much and have compassion on men .
🔊🔥🔥
Jesus Christ was telling disciples about something _Matt.16.21 - From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
🔊🔥🔥
I want us to examine the response of peter _Matt.16.22 - Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
🔊🔥🔥
Peter telling Jesus Christ that he wouldn't die was equally a good news that everyone would be proud of,it might had come from his genuine compassion and a heart of care but listen to the response of Christ.
🔊🔥🔥
Matt.16.23 But Jesus turned away from Peter and said to him, Get behind Me, Satan! You are in My way [an offense and a hindrance and a snare to Me]; for you are minding what partakes not of the nature and quality of God, but of men. (AMP)
🔊🔥🔥
How would the lord Jesus Christ call someone Satan who has brought good news to him _some compassion is wicked if it has come to distruct you from your purpose, Jesus Christ knew that he was sent to die not anything else.
🔊🔥🔥
When men suddenly cares so much and stop you from entering a 40 days prayer and fasting you were directed by God _their compassion is Demonic Beware.
🔊🔥🔥
When men distructs you from living a purity life in a relationship of no s*x before marriage that you will have cancer , separating separating you from purpose _that compassion is Demonic.
🔊🔥🔥
Whatever Passion or compassion which distracts and shift your attention from the purpose God called you to something else away from God it's Demonic.
🔊🔥🔥
Compassion is good but the devil can use it as a weapon fashioned against you and destroy you from fulfilling your purpose.

THE REVELATION OF GETHSEMANE.

Mark.14.32 - And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.

APOSTLE KELPHAS NAKABANGA.
🔊🔥🔥
There is a season in this life to everyone alive and believer of Christ which you need to know early because many gave up when they met it without knowledge.
🔊🔥🔥
Gethsemane has both a literal and metaphorical meaning _it is a season/place of agonizing, pain , crushing and sorrow where your will must submit to the supreme will of the father .
🔊🔥🔥
We see the promise that peter gave to Jesus__ Christ Mark.14.31 - But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all._this is a place where those who promised you to be there for you will be too tired or unconcerned to be with you 🤦‍♂️
🔊🔥🔥
In the Gethsemane season, your ego, pride, title, position and all that you count important sorrows with you,it is a place of vulnerability with God .
🔊🔥🔥
He took with them friends but when he reached there his spirit became heavy _Mark.14.33 - And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;_
🔊🔥🔥
Mark.14.34 "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death," he said to them. "Stay here and keep watch." (NIV)_ this is a place where even friends can't help you,you might be surrounded with people but still in great trouble, your best friends can't offer therapy and encouragements to stop this anguish.
🔊🔥🔥
It is a season which everyone might wish not to go through and better that it just passed _Mark.14.35 Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. (NIV)
🔊🔥🔥
Mark.14.36 - And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
The only solution though it pains when you get to this stage of life is to let the will of God be done or else you might give up .
🔊🔥🔥
When He retuned He found the disciples sleeping, the people he counted to have at least helped Him ,this is a phase were only God can help you _Mark.14.37 - And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
🔊🔥🔥
When you are at your Gethsemane of life ,things seem to be falling apart ,like everything you spent time laboring for is slipping off your hands in a second _ask What happened to Job .🤔
🔊🔥🔥
It's not a Demonic phase of life ,but a preparation from God for your next big assignment _when you fail you will go back until you allow the will of God to prevail.
🔊🔥🔥
In this season you need God only ,away from everyone and everything or else you continue feeling low and develop anger against anyone close to you

*FEAR IS A PRODUCT OF YOUR INABILITY TO SEE THROUGH THE EYES OF GOD ON WHAT YAWEH IS DOING* 🤔🔥
______________________________
🔊⌚🔥
The first thing which I want us to understand is the reason as to why the word fear was mentioned by the lord countless times in the bible, why? 🤔
🔊⌚🔥
Our lord can't just put much emphasize on do not get scared without any cause ,He knew that there are things which makes men get scared and are a lot .
🔊⌚🔥
He knew how powerful fear can get to be to a degree to which it caught his attention to remind us that it is also a gift which comes from Satan which man can receive.
🔊⌚🔥
Isa.41.10 - So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
🔊⌚🔥
Isa.41.13 - For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
🔊⌚🔥
These scriptures shows us the reason as to why we shouldn't get scared and the reason as to why men get scared _the reason is that God is with us and the reason a lot get scared is that the lord is not with them .
🔊⌚🔥
God is showing us that each time we are aware that God is with us we don't have the capacity to fear anything which might come against us.
🔊⌚🔥
2Kgs.6.17 - And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
🔊⌚🔥
This scripture is teaching that each time we do not see through the eyes of God we are definitely going to live in fear _look.at Elijah's servant.
🔊⌚🔥
If your levels of decernment and perception is blurred then you are likely to live a life of fear .

How to Prepare a Sermon learn to unlearn.

1. Sermon preparation begins in prayer.

Not with Google. Not with commentaries. Not with outlines.

Pray extensively. Seek God's mind for His people.

Ask what He wants said. Ask what He wants done.

2. Don't rush this part.

Wait. Listen. Write impressions down.

A sermon is not information delivery but divine communication.

3. Once clarity begins to form, go to Scripture.

Read the passage the Spirit is impressing on your heart.

Read it slowly. Repeatedly. In context.

4. Study the background.

Who is speaking? To whom. Why?

Observe carefully before interpreting.

Interpretation before observation leads to error.

5. Meditate on the Scripture.

Sit with it. Turn it over in your heart.

Ask. What does this reveal about God? About people. About obedience.

6. Write down your notes.

Capture key truths. Supporting verses. Illustrations.

Applications.

Structure your thoughts clearly. Introduction. Body.

Conclusion.

7. Guard accuracy.

Check cross-references. Compare translations.

Make sure what you are saying is what the text is actually saying.

8. Develop application.

How should this change lives?

Truth without application informs. Truth with application transforms.

9. Pray again at the end.

Commit the message back to God.

Ask Him to breathe on it. Ask Him to prepare hearts. Ask Him to use you faithfully.

10. Remember.

You are not called to impress people.

You are called to represent God faithfully.

Prepare prayerfully. Study carefully. Deliver humbly.

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV)

If this helped you, don't just save it. Practice it.

The next time you are asked to teach or preach, start with prayer. Stay in the Word. End on your knees.
