Today on my way to church I met a 10-year-old sent by his father to buy beer. I told the boy to go back and tell his dad: 'You're exposing me to alcohol what happens when I start drinking?'
Parents, when you normalize sending your children to buy alcohol, you are not just running an errand you are planting a seed. Early exposure to alcohol is one of the leading causes of substance abuse and mental health issues in young people.
Protect your children. What's normal to them starts with YOU. 🙏

Too many parents are scrolling through Facebook while their children are struggling in silence.
We are losing our children to mental health problems, substance abuse, and su***de simply because they feel unseen and unheard at home.
Your child doesn't need a perfect parent. They just need a present one.
Put the phone down. Ask how they are doing. Listen without judging. Show up for them.
If parents go back to being parents, we can save so many young lives. 💙
