😡 Concussion

🩸 What is Genotype?

Genotype refers to the genetic makeup you inherit from your parents, especially the part that controls the type of hemoglobin you produce.

Hemoglobin is the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen.

The major hemoglobin genotypes are

AA: Normal
AS: Sickle cell trait (carrier)
SS: Sickle cell disease
AC: Carrier of abnormal hemoglobin C
SC/CC: Other abnormal variants

People with AS, AC, SC, CC, or SS may not always look sick, but when two carriers marry, the risk of having a child with sickle cell disease becomes very high.

It takes a brain and heart to be ready for something just filled with wantings and confidence. If you don't measure these against yourself, you will be lost. You need to measure it against your limits. If you tried it many times, you can't be lost because you are used to it no matter the illness.
