Inside the Lab - with Ms K Discussing Lab matters that lead to life changing solutions

We have migrated to electronic systems!!!😌😌❗️❗️❗️

Most of our activities used to be paper based and it used to require a lot of resources to print and reprint if a major mistake is made.
Currently we are electronic…

As LUTHL we keep improving our QMS to what works best for us.

Talking about QMS implementation; are you coming to the to learn more about great innovations and QMS???😊

Make sure you register to save your spot at Radisson Blu in December ❗️❗️❗️

Starting my week strong 💪🏾.

Having processed a lot of Leukemia samples, I took time to participate in the world duku month just to show support to the cancer warriors out there.

Cancer can be treated and life prolonged if it is detected early.
As lab personnel we play A MAJOR role in the early detection/diagnosis of cancers.

Let’s work together as health staff to detect cancers early.

To all cancer warriors, please stay strong and I’m sending love 💕.

Regards,

Ms K.

I tried… believe me, I tried..
But I had to try again, with someone..😄

Meet Agrippa..
The event? Something QMS related and very involving 😩💁🏾

The video? Random… just me and the QMS FPP for Eastern province testing out the mics and talking about important things.. interaction is very important amongst colleagues, it improves work output 😄.

P.S: I talk a lot around people I’m comfortable with😊.

BTW, this is 1 video of many😌…

See you in Livingstone in December 🌸💁🏾

Regards,
Ms K.

Apart from listening to new innovations I also like to collect me some goodies💁🏾😄….

Come to the 2026 BMSZ scientific symposium and learn some new science… and if you are like me, you can add some goodies to your collection 🥳…..

See you in Livingstone.

Visit!!!

Happy Monday!!

Videos? Eish, I am learning… something about new tricks and old people😂

But! Let’s focus!😌❗️

A number of you don’t know what happens to samples once they come to the lab … here is how Monday morning looks like.. I had to do a quick video as the machines were busy.

Hope you have learned something.

By the way, don’t even think about commenting on my 🥼 lab coat 🥼…💁🏾🤧

Happy Monday to you all😊🫶🏾

Regards,

Ms K🌸.

Beautiful words of thanks in Creo, and Bemba with some written in Tonga.

Farewell to the QMS 100 team.

My sessions ended and it was with a bang😊🥳:

Thank you to the Zambians that attended to support, to learn and to share knowledge….

It was Africa united 😄. For better health care services delivery.

From these sessions, I learnt 1 important thing; African healthcare systems are fragile and personnel are defeated. The challenges are similar if not the same, and hence we share a common goal; to provide better healthcare services despite our challenges.

Thank you Sierra Leon 🇸🇱 for Having me. All the best in implementing your QMS in the labs.

From team Zambia 🇿🇲 and I, we wish you fruitful sessions ahead.

Regards,

Ms K🌸.

😂… Boss agrees with a side note, “abana ba shino nshuku aba” 😂😂😂😂

Meet my boss, Dr Chiyenu.

This day, I took the lab team visiting for a curtesy call which ended up an educational visit as meetings with my boss always are.
A lot of topics where discussed, but I took a few home:
1. The effects of herbal medicine on treatment,
2. Reviving POCT services.

The first one really is something we need to look into as health workers. And we need to explore the effects of herbal medicine on modern day treatment options. (Let’s pin thin this).

The other is POCT services; point of care testing services are things the lab should take full responsibility over. There are a number of challenges that I personally have encountered when it comes to integrating POCT services in the labs QMS. But I know it’s something that can be done. We need to explore this more as well as discourage in detail.

Otherwise, this was a very interesting meeting as always with the boss😊.

Get ready for Monday folks😄.

Regards,

Ms K
