🪨 Large Kidney Stones? PCNL Could Be an Effective Treatment Option

Large kidney stones can cause severe pain, urinary obstruction, recurrent infections, and complications if left untreated. For certain large or complex stones, PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy) may be recommended to remove the stones through a minimally invasive approach. 🩺

🔹 When is PCNL commonly considered?
✔️ Large kidney stones, particularly stones >2 cm
✔️ Staghorn stones – large, complex, branching stones
✔️ Stones causing significant obstruction or persistent symptoms
