في عمر 13 شهراً فقط، واجه حمدان اضطراباً مناعياً وراثياً نادراً جعله عرضة لالتهابات متكررة وخطيرة هددت حياته.

وبعد تشخيص حالته، أجرى الفريق الطبي ضمن برنامج أبوظبي لزراعة نخاع العظم (AD-BMT®️) في ياس كلينك ومركز أبوظبي للخلايا الجذعية، زراعة نخاع عظم عاجلة باستخدام خلايا جذعية من والده كمتبرع نصف متطابق.

اليوم، وبعد نجاح الزراعة، تحسنت حالة حمدان بشكل ملحوظ، واستعاد جهازه المناعي وظائفه تدريجياً، واختفت الالتهابات المتكررة، كما تحسنت حالة جلده وبدأ باكتساب الوزن، ليعود إلى منزله ويبدأ فصلاً جديداً من حياته.

At just 13 months old, Hamdan faced a rare inherited immune disorder that left him vulnerable to severe, recurrent infections that threatened his life.

Following his diagnosis, the medical team under the Abu Dhabi Bone Marrow Transplant Program (AD-BMT®️) at Yas Clinic and Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center performed an urgent bone marrow transplant using stem cells donated by his father, who was a half-matched donor.

Today, following a successful transplant, Hamdan is showing remarkable improvement. His immune system is gradually recovering, his recurrent infections have resolved, his skin condition has significantly improved, and he is gaining weight as he begins a new chapter at home.
