This patient developed a fair amount of
corneal scarring and specification after an adenoviral
infection some years back.
A PTK laser using a masking agent was done to smooth
out the corneal surface. You can see the results on the
AS OCT scans to the right. The vision before surgery
was 6/36 and at 1 week post op the vision has improved
to 6/12 already. I'd expect this to improve further!
