Dr. Ghalia is a distinguished Maternal and Fetal Medicine specialist with more than 16 years of experience in the field. She currently serves as Medical Director and Head of Fetal Medicine and Surgery at Danat Al Emarat Hospital.

Since joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Ghalia has played a key role in advancing Fetal Medicine services, with a strong focus on clinical excellence, patient safety and delivering exceptional care to women and their families.

Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, she held consultant and leadership positions at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospital Sussex, bringing extensive clinical and leadership expertise to her current role.

In her expanded leadership capacity, Dr. Ghalia continues to support the advancement of clinical services, governance, quality and patient outcomes, contributing to Danat Al Emarat's commitment to delivering the highest standards of women’s healthcare.

تُعدّ الدكتورة غالية من الكفاءات المتميزة في مجال طب الأم والجنين، وتمتلك خبرة تزيد على 16 عامًا في هذا المجال. وتشغل حاليًا منصب المدير الطبي ورئيس قسم طب وجراحة الجنين في مستشفى دانة الإمارات.
ومنذ انضمامها إلى دانة الإمارات، أسهمت الدكتورة غالية بدور محوري في تطوير خدمات طب الجنين، مع التركيز على التميز السريري، وسلامة المرضى، وتقديم رعاية استثنائية للنساء وأسرهن.

The 4th Danat Al Emarat Maternity Conference is designed for a wide range of professionals, including obstetricians, gynecologists, neonatologists, pediatricians, midwives, nurses, doulas, and lactation consultants, as well as medical students, researchers, and healthcare administrators.

Its objectives include applying evidence-based practices to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes, integrating respectful and humanized maternity care into daily practice, and strengthening collaboration among the professionals involved.
