Being smart isn’t just about getting good grades.

It’s about problem-solving, emotional intelligence, adaptability, curiosity, and resilience.

So I ranked 5 Pixar characters based on the kind of intelligence that actually matters in life 🧠

Who did I rank too high... and who got robbed?

Children don’t just listen to what we say they learn from what we do. Every reaction, habit, and choice becomes a lesson.
Be the example you want them to follow.

Some animated movies build imagination, empathy, and emotional intelligence.

Others are just really good at keeping kids entertained.

Here’s my honest ranking of more popular animated movies through the lens of child development, storytelling, and brain health.

Just because a cartoon is popular doesn’t mean it’s good for your child’s brain.

Children learn through observation.
And sometimes the lessons they’re picking up aren’t the ones the creators intended.

Some of the best cartoons for your child’s development are not the newest ones. These classics still hold value.

A movie that both kids and adults will genuinely enjoy?
Swapped is one of those rare feel-good films that brings laughs, emotions, and a beautiful message for every age group. Definitely adding this to your must-watch list 🍿

Not all animated movies leave children with the same thing.

Some leave them with empathy, curiosity, and imagination.
Others just leave them entertained.

It suggests that one day we simply stop. Stop building. Stop learning. Stop contributing.

But I have always felt there is a better word for it: Retryment.

Because the most fulfilled people I know never truly retire. They simply reinvent themselves. They retry old dreams, rediscover forgotten passions, revisit ideas they never had time for, and reintroduce themselves to the world in a different way.

Life was never meant to be a straight line from work to rest. It is a continuous journey of growth, curiosity, and purpose.

Perhaps the goal is not to retire from something, but to retry something.

A new skill.
A new business.
A new adventure.
A new version of yourself.

The calendar may say you have reached retirement age.

Your purpose may just be getting started.
