Social skills are an important part of everyday life, and visual cue cards can make expectations easier to understand and follow.

Through ABA, we can support children in learning socially significant behaviors such as:

🚶‍♀️ Waiting patiently in a line
🚪 Knocking before entering a room
🙏 Saying “Thank you” when receiving something

With visual supports, modeling, prompting, and positive reinforcement, children can learn these functional skills step by step and gradually use them across different environments. 🌱✨

🎒 Mystery Bag helps children explore different objects and guess what they are without looking. This builds attention to texture, shape, and size.
✍️ Graphesthesia involves tracing simple shapes, letters, or numbers on a child's hand. It helps children understand what they feel, improving body awareness and preparing them for writing.

In pediatric Occupational Therapy, you don't always need expensive equipment. A simple rope can become a powerful therapy tool when used creatively!
In this reel, we show four fun activities that help children build:
💪 Strength and endurance

🤝 Coordination between both sides of the body
🧩 Motor planning and problem-solving
🌟 Body awareness and postural control
From pulling themselves on a scooter board to strengthening little feet with a toe challenge, each activity encourages children to move, play, and learn in meaningful ways.
Sometimes, the simplest therapy tools create the biggest opportunities for growth. 💙
Note: A skipping rope was used in this demonstration, but any sturdy rope can be adapted for these activities with appropriate supervision.
