One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is:
"I'll see an OB-GYN when I get pregnant."

The truth is, pregnancy is only one part of what we do.

From your first period to family planning, hormonal health, fertility, cervical screening, menopause, and everything in between, your OB-GYN is here to help you through every stage of life.

You don't need to wait until something is wrong or until you're expecting a baby.
Your health deserves attention at every age. ๐Ÿค

Save this post and share it with someone who still thinks OB-GYN only deliver babies.

"Why am I taking aspirin if I'm pregnant?" ๐Ÿค”
It's one of the most common questions I get.

When prescribed by your doctor, low-dose aspirin (81 mg) is a well-studied treatment that can help reduce the risk of preeclampsia in women who are at higher risk.

Never stop or start any medication during pregnancy without speaking to your obstetrician first.

Watch the reel to understand why it may be recommended for you. ๐Ÿค

Many women think, "That's just how my period has always been."
But normal doesn't mean familiar.

A healthy period usually lasts 3 to 7 days. If you're bleeding for more than 7 days every month, your body may be trying to tell you something.

Fibroids, adenomyosis, endometrial polyps, hormonal imbalances, and endometrial thickening are just a few possible causes, and the good news is that they can all be evaluated and treated.

Don't normalize prolonged bleeding just because you've lived with it for years.

Watch the reel, and if this sounds like you, bring it up at your next gynecology appointment. Your body deserves answers. ๐Ÿค

Breastfeeding comes with a lot of advice... but not always the advice you actually need.

Many new moms are surprised by the changes happening in their own bodies. From hormonal shifts to intimacy, fertility, and everything in between, it's normal to have questions, and you shouldn't have to figure them out alone.

The more you understand what's happening, the less overwhelming this journey becomes.

Swipe through, save this for later, and remember: taking care of yourself is part of taking care of your baby. ๐Ÿค

And as always, if you have any question my DM's are always open.

Every operation is more than a medical procedure.

Behind every surgery is a woman who has placed her trust in my hands, a daughter, a wife, a mother, someone deeply loved.

That trust is something I never take for granted.

It's what reminds me, every single day, that this is about people, not just procedures.

Thank you to every patient who allows me to be part of her journey. ๐Ÿค

We prepare couples for pregnancy, birth, and the babyโ€ฆ but almost no one prepares them for what comes next.

If intimacy feels different after delivery, you're not alone, and you're certainly not "broken." Your body has gone through incredible changes, and healing takes time.

Pain, dryness, fear, and feeling disconnected are more common than most couples realize. The important thing is this: you don't have to suffer in silence.

Watch the reel, and if this feels like your story, know that there are solutions, and you're always welcome to ask for help. ๐Ÿค

That pregnancy supplement you take every day, do you know exactly what is in it?

Vitamin A is essential during pregnancy. But the retinol form, found in liver, liver pรขtรฉ, and many supplements, causes birth defects in high doses.

Safe upper limit: 3,000 micrograms of retinol per day.

Check your prenatal vitamin. Check every supplement you are stacking on top of it.
Beta-carotene from food is safe. High-dose retinol is not.

Share this with every pregnant woman in your life. ๐Ÿ’—
