بعضی از بیماران بعد از عمل میگویند:
«دکتر، دور چشمم سیاه شده!»
اما وقتی عکسهای قبل از عمل را کنار هم میگذاریم، میبینیم هاله یا تیرگی دور چشم از قبل هم وجود داشته؛ فقط چون تمام توجه بیمار بعد از عمل روی صورتش متمرکز میشود، تازه متوجه آن میشود.
به همین دلیل، همیشه قبل از جراحی، عکسهای قبل از عمل را با دقت بررسی کنید و انتظارات واقعبینانه داشته باشید.

Some patients tell me after surgery,
“Doctor, I developed dark circles around my eyes after my nose job.”
But when we carefully compare their pre-operative photographs, we often find that the dark circles were already there before surgery—they simply hadn’t noticed them.
After rhinoplasty, patients naturally pay much closer attention to every detail of their face. Sometimes, surgery doesn’t create a new feature; it simply makes you notice what has always been there.
That’s why reviewing your pre-operative photos carefully is an essential part of setting realistic expectations.
