Hard training = not always better results.🄺 Especially when you’re a woman over 40 who is already running on empty. ā˜ ļø

Heavy, structured training can be amazing… when your body actually has the capacity for it.šŸ”„

But if you have health issues, you’re exhausted, stressed, under-recovered and constantly pushing through?🤯 That same training can become another stressor your body has to deal with.šŸ’€

So the answer isn’t to push harder. It’s to work with your body instead of against it. 🫔

In part 2, I’ll be sharing what you need to work on first šŸ˜‰ Keep your eyes peeled girlies! šŸ‘€

We often get caught up in the search for the best exercise routine. Trying to decide on the right combination of weights, cardio, core, etc… Do what on which days, how long, etc 🤯

But there’s another piece of the puzzle we don’t talk about enough: the experience.

Enjoyment, connection, community and consistency all matter.

Your health journey isn’t just about what your body can do or what it can look like. It’s also about creating a lifestyle you genuinely want to show up for. Exercise shouldn’t feel like another chore on your to-do list so my take away is to always first find activities you actually LOVE and then build from there! šŸ˜‰ šŸ’«

PS: Are you a solo girlie like me or a group class girlie?šŸ‘Æā€ā™€ļø

Ladies, can we PLEASE stop trying to lose weight the way we did in the 90s? šŸ˜‚ What ā€œworkedā€ back then isn’t right for what your 40+ body needs now 😄 (most of those 90s trends really deserve a bigšŸ–•šŸ¼šŸ˜)

Anyway, in this reel, I’m sharing the BEST and WORST things for weight loss after 40. It especially applies to women because our bodies are changing during this time and if we don’t do things properly, it can really mess us up 😱

So if you’re still doing things the 90s way like black coffee, ci******es and caffeine loaded diet pills… we seriously need to talk. šŸ˜‚šŸ‘€

Maybe you’re not overwhelmed because you have too much to do… what if it’s that you just have too little space between everything you do? šŸ‘€

We rush from one task to the next. One errand to the next. Our minds and bodies don’t get a chance to pause.

Try creating little pockets of space in your day like:

šŸ‘‰šŸ¼Sit in the car for a minute before going inside (not scrolling šŸ‘€).
šŸ‘‰šŸ¼A few moments of silence between the different tasks of your to-do list.
šŸ‘‰šŸ¼Have your tea or coffee without immediately reaching for your phone (this one is the hardest for me šŸ˜)

Short and intentional pauses can *really* change how you move through your day.

You don’t always need to do less to feel better. Sometimes you need to stop long enough to let yourself breathe. šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø

What happened to the little girl who learned to stay quiet? Maybe she was told:
ā€œDon’t talk back.ā€
ā€œBe a good girl.ā€
ā€œStop being so sensitive.ā€
ā€œDon’t make a scene.ā€
ā€œKeep your opinions to yourself.ā€

And little by little, she learned to swallow her voice. 🄺

Sometimes healing means going back to that little girl—not to live in the past, but to finally give her the space she didn’t have then.šŸ’

To say what she feels. To express what she wants. To have an opinion. To take up space. To trust her own voice.

And there’s something powerful that happens when you tune inwards and start taking action for yourself : You begin to feel more self-confident, more worthy, more connected to who you actually are.

You may even become curious about who you *really* are… your true self šŸ’«

So often the way back to yourself begins with simply letting yourself speak. Share with someone who needs the reminder 🪷✨

Sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves to know what’s next — where we’re going, what we want, what the answer is, what the future is supposed to look like.

But what if you’re not meant to know yet?

What if you gave yourself permission to struggle, to feel uncertain, to change your mind.. or to simply feel, ā€œI don’t knowā€? šŸ‘€

You don’t have to force an answer just because you’re uncomfortable with the uncertainty.

Sometimes clarity comes after we take the next step, because life reveals the next piece only when we’re ready to receive it. šŸ’«

So maybe for now, you can trust yourself enough to not have all the answers.

Take the step you can see. Let go of needing to see the entire path - and trust that you will know what you need to know… when you need to know it. ✨

Maybe this season isn’t asking you for clarity. Maybe it’s just asking you to trust yourself . 🪷

Truthfulness is one of my highest values and it has cost me clients... On a Clarity Health Call, I’ll say something they don’t want to hear. I’ll point out the pattern they may be overlooking. I’ll tell them what I believe actually needs to be addressed.

And sometimes… they’re just not ready to hear it. So they resent me for speaking what had to be said.

So they don’t sign up.
And that’s okay.

Because I’m not here to tell you what you want to hear just so you’ll buy from me.

I’m here to tell you what I genuinely believe will help you move forward with your healing and your health. šŸ’«

Real healing requires honesty. The most important step is being willing to look at what you’ve been avoiding.

So if you’re ready to level up your life, heal from the inside out and rebuild your health in a way that actually lasts… šŸ’Œ DM me CLARITY and let’s have a conversation.

PS. No pressure. No cookie-cutter advice. Just an honest conversation about where you are and what may need to change. ✨

You don’t always have to face the trigger. Sometimes, the healthiest thing you can do is step away. If you don’t have the emotional capacity to explore why this person or situation affects you so deeply… it’s okay to avoid it.

Maybe one day you’ll feel ready to look underneath the trigger — to understand the wound, the message, the pattern, and what it’s asking you to heal.

And sometimes… you won’t. 😳

Because healing doesn’t always happen through deep reflection, journaling, therapy, or consciously ā€œdoing the work.ā€

Sometimes things shifts inside you quietly. You grow. You change. You experience something new. You become more secure in yourself. Time passes.

And suddenly, the person or situation that used to trigger you… just doesn’t anymore.

You may never even know exactly what healed it. And maybe it’s a reminder that on a fundamental level, life happens in a way that no one truly understands anyway- that the more we try to control outcomes, the more it teaches us to surrender. ✨

11/09/2026

We all get emotionally triggered. It’s normal. But the trigger isn’t the actual problem. It’s a clue. šŸ‘€

That person didn’t create that reaction inside you. They touched an open wound that was already there.

And suddenly… their comment hurts WAY more than it ā€œshould.ā€ You feel rejected. Angry. Defensive. Anxious. Small.

We can blame the person and avoid the situation.
But instead what if you explored your trigger?

šŸŖž What is this bringing up for me?
šŸŖž What am I making this mean about myself?
šŸŖž When have I felt this way before?
šŸŖž What part of me still needs healing?

Because every time you react intensely, there is something underneath asking to be seen. 🄹

The goal isn’t to become a person who never gets triggered. The goal is to heal the wound so it no longer stings every time someone’s words pour on it like salt 🄺

Save this for the next time someone really pushes your buttons. šŸ¤¬šŸ˜³šŸ˜‡
