There is something special about treating a patient who has trusted you more than once.

How do I prepare my patients before breast surgery?

Before we enter the operating room, there are several important steps I follow to make sure we have the right medical information and a carefully planned procedure.

We start with the necessary laboratory tests, followed by the appropriate anesthesiology assessment.

For breast surgery, I also request breast imaging, including an ultrasound when appropriate, to evaluate the breast tissue and identify anything that may require further assessment before surgery.

Only after these steps, we finalize the surgical plan, whether it’s a breast augmentation, breast lift, or implant change.

It’s part of the standards I carried with me from my medical training and practice in Germany 🇩🇪
