In a world that is constantly rushing, the secret is to be.
We spend so much of our lives moving from one thing to the next. We’re having one conversation while thinking about the next meeting. We’re finishing one task while planning the next. Our body is here, but our mind is already somewhere else.
Without realizing it, we become so focused on what’s next that we stop experiencing the beauty of what’s here.
We tell ourselves we’ll be happy when we achieve the next goal, when we have more time, when life looks the way we want it to. But by living in that constant pursuit, we train our minds to remain in a state of seeking.
Life can only reflect the state from which we live.
If we constantly live in the energy of chasing, we experience more chasing. If we choose to embody gratitude, love, joy and peace now, those qualities become the lens through which we experience life.
We don’t have to wait for life to give us a reason to feel grateful or happy.
We can choose that state first.
And just like everything else, it takes practice.
By connecting with ourselves every day, for five minutes, then ten, then fifteen, we gradually train our mind, body and energy to live from that state.
And when that state becomes familiar, incredible changes begin to unfold.
