Some people become part of your child’s story forever. ❤️

After 9 years, Dani was reunited with Liz Avenia, his very first LSA, who supported him when he was just 3½–8 years old.

At that time at 3.5, Dani was nonverbal and finding his way in a world that could often feel overwhelming. Liz was part of the team around him during such an important stage of his development, and she witnessed that incredible transition as he began to find his voice and become verbal.

What touched me most was that, all these years later, Dani remembered her so fondly and with so much love.

It is a beautiful reminder that the right person, at the right time, can leave an imprint on a child that lasts far beyond the classroom.

When a child is surrounded by people who believe in them, understand them, nurture their strengths and give them the right support, they can truly thrive.

We will always be grateful to Liz for the part she played in Dani’s journey. Seeing them together again and having Liz meet and reconnect with the other students she also cared for made this such a special evening.

Nine years may have passed, but the love, gratitude and memories remain. ❤️

To every LSA, teacher and support professional who sees the potential in a child before the rest of the world can see it, never underestimate the difference you can make.

Thank you, Liz, for being part of Dani’s story. A very special reunion we will treasure. ❤️

✨ A smile over 6 years in in the making. ✨

Today marks the end of an incredible journey that began at just 12 years old. After years of commitment, patience, and perseverance, the braces have finally come off and the transformation is amazing.

This journey wasn't just about straightening teeth. It was about creating a healthier foundation by aligning and expanding the jaw and addressing a retrognathic jaw to achieve better balance, function, and confidence.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Gabor Hermann and Canadian Medical Center - CMC Dr. Kanaan Sharif for your outstanding expertise, dedication, and care throughout this journey. Your commitment has made a lasting difference, and we are truly grateful.

To anyone on their own orthodontic journey: trust the process. The years may seem long, but the confidence, health, and smile waiting at the finish line are worth every moment.

Here's to new beginnings, bigger smiles, and endless confidence! 😁✨

Final adjustment for fun at the clinic... 😂

Dani has discovered that "cracking joints" looks a lot easier than it actually is! Don't worry everyone, this was all in good fun and under very close supervision, Mr Bones is srill managing fine. 😊

Safe to say he's enjoying every opportunity to learn, and I'm enjoying watching his enthusiasm.

One thing's for sure... the clinic is never short of laughter when he's around. ❤️

Another one having far too much fun at the clinic... 😂

Dani has discovered that "cracking joints" looks a lot easier than it actually is! Don't worry everyone, this was all in good fun and under very close supervision, Mr Bones is fine. 😊

Safe to say he's enjoying every opportunity to learn, and I'm enjoying watching his enthusiasm (while making sure he doesn't start booking patients just yet! 😅).

One thing's for sure... the clinic is never short of laughter when he's around. ❤️

DANI IS LOVING HIS TIME AT THE CLINIC!!

Ever enthusiastic Dani continues his role in adjustments.

Today I had a very enthusiastic "assistant" in the clinic... my son, Dani! 😄

He came in to 'help' demonstrate a few chiropractic adjustments and, I have to admit, he was taking his role very seriously!

I'm not quite ready to hand over the clinic keys just yet, but it's wonderful to see his curiosity, confidence, and willingness to learn.

Who knows... maybe one day he'll be adjusting alongside me! Until then, I'll keep him on observation duty. 😉💙

Proud mum moments are the best moments. ❤️

Strong girls build strong cores 💪✨

Side planks are more than just a core exercise, they help improve balance, posture, shoulder stability, coordination, and overall body strength. They challenge the brain and body to work together, building endurance, focus, and confidence one second at a time. 🔥

So proud of Zoya for showing up consistently and putting in the work, even on the challenging days.

🌟 A huge thank you to Christene, who has been making sure Zoya gets her training in with patience, encouragement, and dedication every step of the way for the past 6 months. 🤍

Please feel free to contact her on WhatsApp +971 52 469 3557

Consistency creates strength. Strength creates confidence. And confidence changes everything. ✨

What this video shows is exactly what I keep trying to explain to parents… excessive screen time is not harmless to the developing brain.

Research continues to show that high levels of screen exposure in children can negatively impact the development of white matter, the brain’s communication highways responsible for language, attention, emotional regulation, learning, and social interaction.

When white matter pathways do not develop appropriately, children may struggle with:
• Attention and focus
• Speech and language
• Emotional regulation
• Coordination and motor skills
• Social engagement
• Sleep and behaviour

A child’s brain develops through movement, touch, eye contact, play, balance, nature, creativity, and human connection, not constant digital stimulation.

The earlier we reduce unnecessary screen exposure, the better chance we give the brain to wire itself correctly.

Protect the developing brain.
Childhood should be experienced, not streamed.

Balance is more than movement, it’s brain communication.

Using a balance board through the hemispheric model helps stimulate and strengthen connections between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. As the body learns to stabilise, the brain is challenged to process sensory input, improve coordination, activate core muscles, and enhance timing and rhythm.

These activities can support
✨ Attention and focus
✨ Motor coordination
✨ Postural control
✨ Vestibular integration
✨ Cognitive processing
✨ Emotional regulation

When one hemisphere is underactive or delayed, targeted movement therapies can help awaken neural pathways and improve functional connectivity.

Every wobble is the brain learning. 🌱
