Strong girls build strong cores 💪✨

Side planks are more than just a core exercise, they help improve balance, posture, shoulder stability, coordination, and overall body strength. They challenge the brain and body to work together, building endurance, focus, and confidence one second at a time. 🔥

So proud of Zoya for showing up consistently and putting in the work, even on the challenging days.

🌟 A huge thank you to Christene, who has been making sure Zoya gets her training in with patience, encouragement, and dedication every step of the way for the past 6 months. 🤍

Please feel free to contact her on WhatsApp +971 52 469 3557

Consistency creates strength. Strength creates confidence. And confidence changes everything. ✨

What this video shows is exactly what I keep trying to explain to parents… excessive screen time is not harmless to the developing brain.

Research continues to show that high levels of screen exposure in children can negatively impact the development of white matter, the brain’s communication highways responsible for language, attention, emotional regulation, learning, and social interaction.

When white matter pathways do not develop appropriately, children may struggle with:
• Attention and focus
• Speech and language
• Emotional regulation
• Coordination and motor skills
• Social engagement
• Sleep and behaviour

A child’s brain develops through movement, touch, eye contact, play, balance, nature, creativity, and human connection, not constant digital stimulation.

The earlier we reduce unnecessary screen exposure, the better chance we give the brain to wire itself correctly.

Protect the developing brain.
Childhood should be experienced, not streamed.

Balance is more than movement, it’s brain communication.

Using a balance board through the hemispheric model helps stimulate and strengthen connections between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. As the body learns to stabilise, the brain is challenged to process sensory input, improve coordination, activate core muscles, and enhance timing and rhythm.

These activities can support
✨ Attention and focus
✨ Motor coordination
✨ Postural control
✨ Vestibular integration
✨ Cognitive processing
✨ Emotional regulation

When one hemisphere is underactive or delayed, targeted movement therapies can help awaken neural pathways and improve functional connectivity.

Every wobble is the brain learning. 🌱

Meet Dubai’s youngest chiropractor in training… Dr. Zoya Noor 👩🏻‍⚕️😂

In this throwback she decided I needed a ‘full adjustment’ because apparently I was ‘walking like an old grandma’ 🤦🏻‍♀️💀

One serious face, two small hands, and 47 made up medical terms later…

I think I’ve officially been replaced at NeuroActive Health Hub 😭😂

Interactive Metronome (IM)

IM is a powerful brainbased training program designed to improve timing, rhythm, attention, coordination, and cognitive processing. By using precise auditory and visual feedback, IM helps strengthen communication between the brain and body, supporting better focus, motor planning, balance, memory, and emotional regulation.

Research has shown that Interactive Metronome can benefit children and adults with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning difficulties, sensory processing challenges, sports performance, and even post-concussion rehabilitation. Studies have demonstrated improvements in attention span, processing speed, reading fluency, executive functioning, and overall motor coordination after consistent IM training.

At NeuroActive Health Hub, we integrate Interactive Metronome as part of our holistic neurodevelopmental and brain optimization programs to help individuals unlock their full potential.

Last minute revision isn’t just about cramming information, it’s about how well your brain can hold, process, and retrieve what you’ve learned under pressure. 🧠

A strong working memory helps you sustain focus, retain key concepts, and connect information quickly during exams or stressful situations. The better your working memory, the longer your brain can efficiently manage mental tasks without overload.

Train the brain, strengthen the mind, and success follows. 💡📚

Reminiscing over the past 10 years with Dani… and one thing that has never changed is his love for his green juice 💚🥬

From childhood until now, it’s been part of his daily routine, nourishing the body, supporting the brain, and building healthy habits for life. Sometimes the simplest habits are the most powerful.

Go green, fuel your health naturally, and invest in your wellbeing one sip at a time 🌱✨

✨ Engaging the Eyes. Enhancing the Brain. ✨

Today’s session focused on improving convergence insufficiency through targeted visual engagement exercises combined with photobiomodulation therapy applied to the occipital lobe, the brain’s primary visual processing centre.

By stimulating the visual pathways while encouraging coordinated eye movements, we aim to support

👁️ Better eye teaming
🧠 Improved visual processing
⚡ Enhanced neural integration between brain hemispheres
🎯 Better focus, tracking, attention, and spatial awareness

Photobiomodulation helps energise and support neuronal function, while active convergence work encourages stronger communication between the eyes and the brain. This integrated approach can be particularly beneficial for children and individuals experiencing visual fatigue, attention difficulties, reading challenges, or neurodevelopmental delays.

When the eyes and brain work together efficiently, learning, coordination, and attention can significantly improve. 🌟

Today my heart felt so full of gratitude that I just felt super inspired to share it.

Seeing our children making such beautiful progress truly fills my heart with so much thankfulness and appreciation.

Every small step forward means so much, and moments like this remind me why I do what I do. Alhamdulillah, I’m deeply grateful to be part of their journey.
