Some people become part of your child’s story forever. ❤️
After 9 years, Dani was reunited with Liz Avenia, his very first LSA, who supported him when he was just 3½–8 years old.
At that time at 3.5, Dani was nonverbal and finding his way in a world that could often feel overwhelming. Liz was part of the team around him during such an important stage of his development, and she witnessed that incredible transition as he began to find his voice and become verbal.
What touched me most was that, all these years later, Dani remembered her so fondly and with so much love.
It is a beautiful reminder that the right person, at the right time, can leave an imprint on a child that lasts far beyond the classroom.
When a child is surrounded by people who believe in them, understand them, nurture their strengths and give them the right support, they can truly thrive.
We will always be grateful to Liz for the part she played in Dani’s journey. Seeing them together again and having Liz meet and reconnect with the other students she also cared for made this such a special evening.
Nine years may have passed, but the love, gratitude and memories remain. ❤️
To every LSA, teacher and support professional who sees the potential in a child before the rest of the world can see it, never underestimate the difference you can make.
Thank you, Liz, for being part of Dani’s story. A very special reunion we will treasure. ❤️
