Dr. Muhammed Aslam is a highly skilled pulmonologist working at the International Modern Hospital in Dubai with over a decade of experience in the field of medicine. He holds MBBS from the Government Medical College in Calicut, India and MD in Pulmonary Medicine from Pariyaram Medical College in Kannur, India. His experience includes working as a house surgeon at the Govt Medical College Calicut,

as a rural medical officer at Govt Community Health Centre, and as a resident and senior resident in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at different medical colleges in Kerala. He has also served as an assistant professor in Pulmonary Medicine at Aster DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences. With experience in both rural and urban populations, Dr. Muhammed has a deep understanding of a wide range of pulmonary issues and their effective management.He possesses certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and RNTCP (Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program), and demonstrates expertise in caring for critically ill patients. He has a thorough understanding of various pulmonary conditions, including allergies, asthma, respiratory infections, pneumonia, pleural effusion, sleep disorders, tuberculosis, and is proficient in managing patients requiring ventilator support.He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Malayalam. Dr. Muhammed has a passion for medical academia and has trained and educated many doctors and medical students. He has published over 15 journal articles and has won several awards, including the ICS Talent Search Award and the first prize in the pulmonary quiz . He is an active member of professional associations such as the European Respiratory Society, American College of Chest Physicians, and Indian Chest Society.

Most people have heard the name “Hantavirus” recently — but awareness is more important than panic.
