Did you know a rabbit’s teeth grow continuously throughout its life? 🐰🦷

Without enough hay to naturally wear them down, their teeth can become overgrown, making eating painful and leading to serious dental disease.

Some of the signs to watch for include:
🐰 Eating less or refusing food
🐰 Drooling or a wet chin
🐰 Dropping food while chewing
🐰 Weight loss

The rabbit featured in this reel underwent a corrective dental procedure to help restore comfort and improve quality of life.

Regular veterinary check-ups and a hay-rich diet are key to keeping your rabbit’s teeth healthy.

If you’ve noticed changes in your rabbit’s eating habits, don’t ignore them—rabbits are experts at hiding pain.

Can my pet eat this? 🤔🐾

We’ve all been there—those puppy eyes at the dinner table are hard to resist. But while some human foods make safe treats, others can be harmful or even life-threatening.

That’s why we’ve put together this quick guide to help you know what’s:
✅ Safe to share
⚠️ Best given only occasionally
🚫 Never safe for your pet

When introducing any new food, always start with a small amount and remember that treats should only make up a small part of your pet’s overall diet.

If your pet has eaten something you’re unsure about, don’t wait for symptoms to appear—contact your veterinarian as soon as possible.

As temperatures rise, it’s important to know the difference between normal panting and the warning signs of heatstroke. ☀️🐾

While panting is a normal way for dogs to cool themselves after exercise or excitement, excessive panting accompanied by signs such as weakness, collapse, vomiting, or bright red gums can be a medical emergency.

Heatstroke can progress rapidly, especially in our climate, so knowing what to look for—and acting quickly—can make all the difference.

Remember:
💧 Keep your dog well hydrated.
🌳 Walk during the cooler parts of the day.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked car.
🐶 Flat-faced breeds are more prone to overheating and require extra care.

If you suspect your pet is suffering from heatstroke, seek veterinary attention immediately.
