Your body can’t recover well if it NEVER gets a chance to switch off.

Stress doesn’t just affect your mind — it can increase muscle tension, disrupt sleep and make your nervous system more sensitive to pain.

That’s why recovery isn’t always about doing MORE.

Sometimes it’s about slowing down.

Try 1–2 minutes of slow, controlled breathing:

Inhale through your nose.
Slow, longer exhale.
Relax your jaw and shoulders.

It’s a simple way to help your nervous system shift towards rest & digest and create a calmer environment for recovery.

Save this for the days your body feels tense, tight or overwhelmed 🩵

And if your neck, shoulders or back constantly feel tight, comment RELAX and I’ll send you my free 5-Minute Posture Reset 🙏🏽

2026 marks 10 years of me helping thousands of people! And I’ve noticed something…

Your pain isn’t random. It keeps coming back because the plan stopped too early.

Most care gives you step one — ‘relief’ and you think you’re finished.

You feel better, you stop, and a few weeks or months later you’re back where you started, blaming your body.

It was never your body.
It was an unfinished plan.

Here’s the 5-step method I use on my clients (and used on my own spine):

R — Relieve · calm the pain so the body feels safe to move
E — Educate · understand why it happened (the step everyone skips)
S — Strengthen · rebuild the weak links the pain was hiding
E — Engage · move well again, and get back to what you stopped doing
T — Transform · a body you trust — strong, capable, and yours

Relief is step one. Not the finish line 🏁❌

I’m a chiropractor who slipped a disc. Not once, but twice 💀

And it’s the best thing that ever happened to how I practise.

The first time, I was deadlifting light weight on my lunch break and my back locked so hard, I ended up flat on the floor.

The second time was mid-COVID, every clinic closed, numbness down my leg, no one to fix me but myself.

So I did.
Core work, targeted movement, the boring daily stuff — done religiously.

Weeks later I was back. Months later I was lifting 3x the weight that injured me, and it NEVER came back.

When a car crash later gave me a neck disc, I did the whole thing again.

Here’s what it taught me: an adjustment helps your body heal, but it doesn’t fix the cause long-term.

Strength and the right movement do.

And you’re far more capable of breaking your own pain cycle than anyone’s ever told you.

That’s what this page is for.

Follow along if you’re done managing pain and ready to actually fix it 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼

Three things my clients complain of most days👇

If you sit at a desk all day, your body is quietly adapting to that position — and these three areas pay the price.

The fix isn’t stretching harder. It’s switching the right muscles back on.

Here’s the single best move for each 👇

1️⃣ LOW BACK PAIN → Quadruped Hip Hike:

Sitting switches off the deep core muscles that stabilise your spine. This rebuilds that control and teaches your back to stay steady while your limbs move — exactly what it fails to do after hours in a chair.

2️⃣ TIGHT SHOULDERS → Prone Scapular Lift:

Rounded desk posture lengthens and weakens the muscles between your shoulder blades. This wakes them back up and pulls your shoulders out of that hunched-forward position they’ve been stuck in.

3️⃣ STIFF NECK → Prone Chin Tuck + Lift:

Every inch your head moves forward — it multiplies the load on your neck! This strengthens the deep neck muscles that hold your head where it belongs.

Do each for 8–10 reps, once or more a day.

Small input, big payoff. 🔖

Save this for the days your body needs it — and send it to the colleague who’s always rubbing their neck at their desk.

Which one do you feel the most? 👇

Pain relief is not recovery.

I’ll say it louder for the people who’ve been told “rest it and see how it feels.”

Your body didn’t break randomly. It adapted, overtime — to weakness, to stress, to years of moving a certain way.

Pain is the alarm, not the fire. So when care only silences the alarm, the fire’s still burning.

That’s why it comes back!!!
That’s why you’ve “fixed” this two, three, four times.

I built my practice around a different belief: relief is step one (not the finish line).
The work that actually changes things is; understanding your body, rebuilding strength, relearning how to move, all starts after the pain settles.

Most care stops right where the real progress begins.

You get that temporary relief, you think you’re fine.
But you’re not!

If you’ve been stuck in the chronic pain cycle, it was never a discipline problem or a “bad back.” It was an unfinished system. A system I am changing.
