A fully felt emotion moves through you in 90 seconds.
Ninety seconds if you don’t resist it.
But most of us were taught to do exactly that. Push it down. Hold it together. Deal with it later.
So later becomes never. And the emotion doesn’t disappear, it deposits.
In your body. In your nervous system. In the exhaustion that doesn’t make sense. The tension you can’t locate. The brain fog. The physical symptoms that seem to have no cause.
This isn’t metaphor. The research is clear: chronically suppressed emotions dysregulate the nervous system, deplete energy, and show up as physical symptoms over time.
But here’s the part that keeps me doing this work:
The other side of a fully felt emotion is clarity.
Not just relief. Actual clarity about what you want, what you need, where you’re going.
Feeling your emotions fully isn’t weakness. It’s not losing control.
It’s the most direct path back to yourself that exists.
This is what we practice inside SHE feels. Not endlessly processing but moving through.
