The UAE PQR 2025 has strict rules on exam attempts that most professionals are not aware of until it is too late.

Here is what you need to know:

→ You are allowed a maximum of 3 new attempts after failing
→ To reapply for the same title, you must either gain 2 years of additional clinical experience after your last attempt OR obtain an additional recognised qualification
→ UAE authorities also reserve the right to re-examine any licensed professional at any time

This is the most overlooked rule in UAE healthcare licensing — and it costs professionals months of delay. ⚠️

The UAE PQR 2025 is very specific about which educational qualifications are accepted. Many professionals discover too late that their degree does not qualify.

These qualifications are NOT accepted for UAE licensing:

❌ Distance learning or fully online degrees
❌ Honorary degrees of any kind
❌ Correspondence or equivalency certificates
❌ Hybrid certificates — except those issued during the COVID-19 exceptional period

Your qualification must be:
✅ Issued by a nationally accredited institution
✅ From a university recognised by the relevant authority of that country
✅ A full-time, in-person, or approved blended program

If you are unsure whether your degree qualifies, do not apply and hope for the best. A rejected application wastes time, money, and your exam attempt quota.
