Story Time❗️
3 months after our wedding, our lives took a drastic turn
And for the next 3.5 years, we had no idea the stroll through the valley of shadow of death we were going to take..
It sucks that my wife never got to enjoy a proper honeymoon as I had promised her in Europe, we never enjoyed any of the “newly weds” time or activities people usually do. Instead our lives and everything we ever slaved for started to collapse in front of our own eyes and we couldn’t do s**t to save it regardless of what we tried.
People who once were “friends” or should I say used us for our material possessions turned on us, not only that but those same so called “family” friends started talking s**t about us and airing out our personal business to randoms.
Many sleepless nights, many days where we just wanted to jump off cn tower with no one to really call or check in to see how we were doing. It was just us two against Goliath of problems without any resolution in sight.
During those moments is when I really started to thank God for my wife and the incredible strong human being she was. Anyone else would have packed her s**t and left. It would have been easier. But not her.
Looking back, I wouldn’t trade the dark times for anything.
During those times I really learned what God really meant, during those times I really learned who my real friends are, during those times I really learned that as nice as material things are, you don’t really need them if your heart is right, during those times me and my wife truly became one.
Today we celebrate 4 years in a whole new life.
Different continent. Different city. Different mindset. Different business
Last 4 years were the refining years, the next 100 years will be let’s live up to our potential years
Oh and on Sunday, I am taking her on the promised euro trip 🥸
