What an incredible journey this externship has been.

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the recent Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) Externship organized by the UAE EFT Community.

Over four intensive and deeply meaningful days, therapists came together to learn, grow, connect, and deepen their understanding of one of the world’s leading evidence-based models for couples therapy.

A heartfelt thank you to Nilufer KafesciogluDr. Nilufer Kafescioglu, PhD for her warmth, expertise, generosity, and outstanding teaching throughout this experience.

At the UAE EFT Community, we are proud to continue bringing this gold-standard attachment-based model to the region and to contribute to building a strong, connected, and growing EFT community in the UAE and beyond.

Thank you to all participants for your openness, engagement, and commitment throughout the training. We are excited to continue this journey together through future trainings, supervision, and EFT certification pathways.

The UAE EFT community is excited to open registrations for our upcoming Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) Externship.

This is more than a training. It is a structured, evidence-based approach that has consistently shown strong outcomes in helping couples rebuild connection, trust, and emotional safety.

Over 4 intensive days, participants will gain practical tools, live demonstrations, and hands-on experience that can immediately elevate their clinical work with couples.

We are pleased to have Dr Nilufer Kafescioglu leading this externship, bringing deep academic, clinical, and supervisory expertise in EFT.

The UAE EFT Community is proud to have hosted and organized this workshop on “ADHD and Working with Couples in EFT” with Alexine Thompson-de Benoit.

Thank you to the amazing Alexine for such a rich, insightful, and practical training, and thank you to all the therapists who attended and contributed to a meaningful and engaged learning space.

It was a truly valuable session, offering practical tools and deeper understanding of working with ADHD and neurodivergence through the EFT lens. We all left with insights that can be immediately applied to support our neurodivergent clients more effectively.
