Methods of Taking Blood Oxygen Levels (SpO₂)

A pulse oximeter is a small device used to check your blood oxygen level (SpO₂) and heart rate.
You can place it on your finger or toe.
It works by shining infrared light through the skin and measuring how much oxygen is in your blood.

✅ Understanding Blood Oxygen Levels (SpO₂)
• 98% to 100%
This is normal. Your body has enough oxygen. No action is needed.
• 95% to 97%
This is a little lower than normal, but usually still okay.
You should monitor and consult a doctor if it stays low.
• 92% to 94%
This means your oxygen is decreased.
It may indicate a health problem. A doctor’s evaluation is recommended.
• 88% to 92%
This is low oxygen.
There is a high risk of hypoxia (not enough oxygen in the body).
Medical attention is needed immediately.
• Below 88%
This is a critical level.
It means severe hypoxia and is very dangerous.
You need emergency medical treatment or hospitalization right away.

🔹 Epigastric (middle upper)

Common stomach & heart-related causes:
• Gastritis

• Heart attack (MI)
• Esophagitis

• Ruptured AAA (dangerous)

🔹 Right Upper Quadrant (RUQ)

Mostly liver & gallbladder:
• Gallstones / Biliary colic
• Cholecystitis
• Cholangitis
• Hepatitis

• Budd–Chiari (rare)

🔹 Left Upper Quadrant (LUQ)

♻️ سناریو انواع آن🥴

فرض کنیم مغز یک شهر پر از فابریکه و شرکت‌های خیلی مهم است. حالا این شهر یک سیستم ترانسپورت دارد که همان رگ‌های خون باشد.

🚍 اتوبوس‌های خون هر روز آکسیجن و غذای خوشمزه (گلوکوز) را به کارمندهای شهر (نیورون‌ها) می‌رسانند.

💠سناریوی اول: اسکمیک استروک

یک روز یکی از این جاده‌ها توسط یک آدم بداخلاق به نام "ترومبوز" بسته میشه 😡.
ترومبوز میگه:

> "امروز اعتصاب دارم، هیچ ماشینی از من تیر نمی‌شه!"

نتیجه....؟
کارگرهای بیچاره (نیورون‌ها) گرسنه و بی‌اکسیجن می‌مانند. بعد از چند دقیقه شروع می‌کنند به داد و فریاد:

> "اکسیجن! گلوکوز! کمک!"🎺🎺🎺

اگر کسی زودتر نرسه (مثل آمبولانس با tPA 🚑💉)، کارگر های بیچاره از گرسنگی میمیرند..

💠سناریوی دوم: هموراژیک استروک

اینجا قضیه فرق می‌کنه. یک لوله‌ی آب (رگ خونی) فشار زیاد را تحمل نمی‌کنه و می‌ترکه 💥.
آب (خون) همه‌جا پخش میشه و به جای اینکه کارخانه‌ها را سیراب کنه، کل شهر را غرق می‌کنه.
کارگرها (نیورون‌ها) این بار می‌گویند:

> "ای بابا! نه نان رسید، نه اکسیجن… تازه داریم غرق هم می‌شیم!" 😫

📌نتیجه :

اگر رگ بسته شود → ایسکمیک استروک

اگر رگ بترکد → هیموراژیک استروک

و در هر دو حالت، نیورون‌های بیچاره یا از گرسنگی می‌میرند یا در سیل خون غرق می‌شوند.

اولي؛ اووي از مه كده وقت هم آمده بودي مگم مه 45 روپه كار كديم از تو كده زياد 😃
بچيش خسته فروشي فايده اش كم است، تمام روز از سي یا چهل روپه زياد كار كده نميتوانی؛
مگم مه روز هفتاد يگان روز عين نود روپه كار ميكنم، بيا تو هم بوت پالشي كو ازو كده؛
بخاطريكه انديوالم هستي برت گفتم، اگه ني مه به هركس نميگم
دومي؛ خي باشه پيسه برس و رنگه كه پيدا كدم بوشكه ده خانه داريم ميگيرم مه هم دگه بوت پالشي ميكنم.

باهم خنده كنان رفتند، شايد هم نميدانند كه خنده هايشان چقدر درد ميكند و شنونده را چقدر درد می‌دهد.

✅ Genu Valgum (Knock-Knees) and Genu Varum (Bowlegs) are deformities of the knee joint characterized by abnormal angulation of the lower limbs.

❇️ Genu Valgum (Knock-Knees)
🔷Definition: A condition where the knees touch while the ankles remain apart when standing straight. This inward angulation of the knees creates a "knock-knee" appearance.

🔷Common Age Group: Typically seen in children aged 2–6 years, often resolving naturally by age 7.

🔷Causes:

Physiologic: Part of normal growth and development.

Pathologic: Conditions like rickets, skeletal dysplasia, or trauma.

🔷Symptoms:

Knees angle inward.

Gait disturbances or outward rotation of feet.

🔷Diagnosis: Clinical examination, supported by imaging if necessary.

🔷Treatment:

Observation for physiologic cases.

Exercises, orthotics, or surgery for persistent or pathologic cases.

❇️Genu Varum (Bowlegs)

🔷Definition: A condition where the knees remain apart while the ankles touch when standing straight. This outward bowing of the knees creates a "bow-legged" appearance.

🔷Common Age Group: Seen in infants and children under 2–3 years; usually resolves by age 6–7.

🔷Causes:

Physiologic: Normal developmental stage in infants.

Pathologic: Rickets, Blount’s disease, skeletal dysplasia, or trauma.

Outward bowing of knees.

Intoeing gait or clumsiness.

🔷Diagnosis: Clinical examination and radiographic imaging to assess severity and underlying causes.

EPIDURAL HEMORRHAGE
• Cause: Lateral skull fracture → middle meningeal artery tear
• Onset: Immediate LOC, then a lucid interval, then rapid decline
• CT: Lens-shaped (biconvex) hyperdensity
• Common in: Young trauma patients
• Treatment: Emergent neurosurgical evacuation — rapid expansion can lead to brain herniation and death
