Sometimes adulthood begins not when we learn to control everything.
But when a place appears inside us - a place we can lean on.
That inner motherhood is not about taking even better care of everyone around us.
It is about something else.
About the ability to stay close to ourselves.
To hear ourselves.
To feel what is happening inside.
To stop running away from our feelings and demanding that we immediately fix everything.
Sometimes we don’t need another piece of advice.
We need a space where we can finally meet ourselves.
This is what intermodal expressive arts therapy means to me.
A space where you don’t have to come “perfect”.
You don’t need to already know all the answers.
You don’t need to become someone else.
You can simply be.
Through color, movement, images, writing, and voice, we connect with the part of ourselves that knows more than the mind can explain.
Because sometimes the answer is already within us.
It just doesn’t speak in words.
A special part of this process is the group.
Others become mirrors. And suddenly, while listening to someone else’s story, you recognize your own. You find words for what has been living inside you for a long time. You see your strengths, your desires, your vulnerability.
And little by little, trust in yourself returns.
For me, this is not about creativity for the sake of creating a result.
It is about coming home.
Back to yourself.
To your depth.
To your living connection with yourself.
To the place where you can hear yourself without judgment or advice.
If you feel called to trust yourself more and to listen more deeply to what is happening inside you - we invite you to join the intermodal expressive arts therapy group.
