Decreasing fertility is a key strategic challenge for Armenia, requiring collaboration, innovation, and coordinated action.

Vickino has been invited to contribute to the Working Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health, established in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia and UNFPA.

The working group brings together key stakeholders to strengthen coordination within the sexual and reproductive health sector, foster collaboration among organizations, improve the impact of ongoing initiatives, and ensure more effective use of resources.

This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment and expertise in this area, building on the national landscape analysis we conducted last year with and continuing this year through additional initiatives and projects.

Digital health innovation can be a game changer in addressing complex healthcare challenges, and we are honored to contribute our knowledge and experience alongside our partners to support the advancement of sexual and reproductive health in Armenia.

Digital Health Success at Seaside Startup Summit Armenia 2026 🚀

Another inspiring year at Seaside Startup Summit Armenia 2026: bringing together founders, investors, innovators, mentors, and technology leaders from across the world.

This year was especially meaningful for the digital health ecosystem, with several healthcare-focused innovations making their mark.

As a mentor at the summit, our CEO Dr Robin Vicken Ohannessian MD MPH PhD. had the opportunity to support and engage with ambitious founders, share expertise, and contribute to discussions shaping the future of technology and healthcare innovation.

🏆 Congratulations to Astra Mindcore, founded by Hanna Harutyunyan, for winning 1st Place in the Starter Program at Seaside Startup Summit Armenia 2026.

Astra Mindcore is a deep-tech and space-tech startup developing innovative approaches to measuring human cognitive performance through mental math. The startup’s achievement, including an $8,000 prize, highlights the strength of Armenia’s growing innovation ecosystem and the potential of Armenian founders building solutions at the intersection of technology, science, and human performance.

🥈 Congratulations to the talented 2025 MDH students Dr. Samantha Grace and Dr. Danie Franklin for earning 2nd Place at Seaside Startup Summit Armenia 2026 with their innovative healthcare project, Dr. ASA.

Dr. ASA is a clinical intelligence layer designed to support physicians in decision-making while helping reduce burnout. Rather than replacing clinicians, the team is developing technology that empowers healthcare professionals, giving them more time to focus on what matters most — their patients.

It was inspiring to see how the next generation of entrepreneurs is using technology to address real-world challenges from healthcare and medicine to space and beyond.

Our inaugural session, “HAY ASSO: Advancing Trauma and Burn Care in Armenia,” was presented by Dr. Lilit Khatchikian, MD, MS.

We were pleased to be part of the Investment Security Working Group meeting held on May 13, 2026, at the Ramada Hotel, organized by Ameria Management Advisory, the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), and Equity Law Partners.

The discussion focused on investment screening in Armenia’s healthcare sector, bringing together representatives from government institutions, healthcare organizations, the private sector, and the expert community. The event was supported by the UK Government through the UK International Development framework.

Our Founder and CEO, Dr Robin Vicken Ohannessian MD MPH PhD , joined Kristine Khanazadyan, Co-Founder and Head of Legal Services at Equity Law Partners and Tigran Jrbashyan Director of Ameria Management Advisory, to explore the growing intersection of healthcare, national security, and economic resilience.

A key takeaway from the meeting was that investment screening should be viewed not as a barrier to investment, but as a strategic tool for managing risk while fostering sustainable growth.

ŌURA Health is heading for an initial public offering (IPO) later this year.

The company, which was valued at around $11 billion during its latest funding round in fall 2025, is preparing for a potential listing on a U.S. stock exchange with major investment banks Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley leading the offering.

Oura has experienced rapid growth in recent years, with the company reportedly on track to reach nearly 5 million paid subscribers while projecting annual revenue of up to $2 billion. The smart ring brand has become widely known for its health, fitness, sleep, and wellness tracking technology, positioning itself as one of the leading players in the wearable tech market.

At the moment, Oura remains a privately held company, meaning its shares are not yet available for public trading on exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq. Key details including the official IPO date, ticker symbol, and share price are expected to be revealed once the company publicly files its Form S-1 registration with the SEC in the coming months.

Currently, pre-IPO shares are typically limited to venture capital firms, institutional investors, and certain accredited investors through specialized private equity platforms. Retail investors interested in buying shares will need to wait until the company officially completes its IPO and begins public trading.

It was a true honor to meet French President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to Yerevan 🇫🇷🤝🇦🇲

President Macron has long been a strong supporter of digital health and healthcare innovation, which made this meeting especially meaningful for our mission.

Our CEO, born and raised in Lyon, spent most of his life in France before moving to Armenia following the war in Artsakh. Bringing decades of European public health experience to Yerevan, he came with one mission: to help innovate and support the evolution of Armenian healthcare toward European standards.
