𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

On Saturday, August 22, SZV proudly joined The Home Away From Home Foundation in celebrating World Senior Citizens Day with a community parade under the theme “Stronger Together, Healthier Forever.”

As part of the celebration, SZV distributed pedometers, along with caps and visors, encouraging our seniors to stay active and continue taking steps toward healthier lifestyles.

The day was also made extra special with the recognition of five birthday celebrants.

“Our seniors have given so much to this community, and it's our responsibility to give back and ensure that they are taken care of. Through the care we provide, the programs we support, and the time we spend with them, days like this remind us that supporting our seniors isn't just a priority, it's a privilege,” said Elton Felisie, SZV’s Deputy Director.

Our seniors have contributed so much to our community, and we are proud to support opportunities that promote their health, wellbeing, connection, and active participation.

A heartfelt thank you to The Home Away From Home Foundation and all the seniors who joined and made the day such a meaningful celebration.
