𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗶 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺.

A right colectomy performed by Dr. Edgar Aleman using the Toumai robotic system on our colorectal simulation model, during a robotic training session at the .sa robotic surgery training center in Argentina.

This model allows surgeons to train colorectal procedures in a structured and repeatable way, enabling the refinement of suturing and anastomosis, and can be used across different robotic systems.

Beyond right colectomy, the model also supports training in left colectomy, sigmoidectomy, appendectomy, and segmental resections, making it a versatile tool for colorectal surgical training.

Designed to support consistent practice, simulation helps shorten the learning curve in robotic colorectal surgery.

𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁. 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

Over two intensive days in Chile, we delivered a robotic surgery training program together with SurMedical and MicroPort MedBot, bringing multidisciplinary teams together around a single robotic platform.

🔹 Through simulation-based training, teams from Urology, Gynecology, Colorectal Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery were able to train on the robot, practice procedural steps, and gain hands-on experience in a controlled learning environment.

Simulation plays an important role in robotic surgery education, helping surgeons learn, practice, and gain confidence, while allowing companies to support training in a practical and efficient way.

What stood out most during these two days was the value of learning together — sharing the same space, the same technology, and the same training experience.

As we close another year at , we look back on a period defined by steady growth and meaningful progress 🚀

This year, we expanded our portfolio with new high-fidelity simulation models for thoracic and colorectal surgery, supporting training in complex procedures.

We also invested in technology, incorporating new 3D printers to enhance precision in the design of our simulation models.

Another important milestone was the opening of our own surgical simulation center in Buenos Aires, a dedicated space for hands-on training and education 📖

We also introduced a new brand identity that reflects our evolution and long-term vision.

👉🏼 Swipe through to revisit the moments that shaped our year.

Thank you for being part of this journey 👏🏼

See you in 2026 🥂 advancing surgical education through high-fidelity simulation.

High-Fidelity Simulation for Thoracic Surgery

A few highlights from the recent robotic thoracic surgery course at , where participants performed lobectomy training using our new lung model 🫁

This development is part of our ongoing commitment at MIRAI 3D to bring high-fidelity simulation to thoracic surgery, helping residents and fellows refine their skills in a safe, controlled, and realistic environment —reducing reliance on wet-lab practice and expanding access to advanced surgical training.

Led by an outstanding team of surgeons in collaboration with , this course reflects how simulation can seamlessly integrate into hands-on education and improve surgical performance.
