I recently went on one of the most life changing courses of my physio career.
As physios, you have a responsibility to educate and develop throughout your work life. Most courses are ok, but some leave you breathless.
I went to The Mummy Physios who hosted an Hannah Poulton | Leading C-Section and Scar Specialist course on C-section scars. The learning was intense but fun. We met so many women who exposed their stories and their scars to us (if you were one of them - thank you!) We got to interact with them, listen to their stories, look at and feel their scars. It was a humbling experience. The instructors were from the Lizzie & Kirsty | Leading North Wales Pelvic Health Physios clinic and it was great to learn from them. They were patient, kind and inspiring.
It was also fantastic to meet the other women on the course, from which we created a little network for Northern Ireland.
