An amazing morning spent building and facilitating (with loads of help ) the Scarf labyrinth in Ward park for the participants, supporters and organisers of North Down & Ards Women's Aid-028 91273196 and Men's Advisory Project annual 5k run!
Well done all who ran/walked! 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
Thank you South Eastern Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Partnership Traci Kimber from
South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust for allowing us to hold this space for you. ❤️
We stand in solidarity with these organisations to make this world a safer and more compassionate place.
Honoured to have Craig Blaney UUP and family walk the labyrinth!
And all you wonderful walkers!
You were such a joy! Curious, gentle playful and kind.
Our hearts are full and the afternoon has mostly been spent eating cakes and biscuits resting and reflecting 🍰🧁🍪
Where or who should we take the Scarf labyrinth to next?

On Sunday 7th June 2026, 930-1pm in Ward Park, as part of the South Eastern Area Domestic and Sexual Violence Partnership we will create a pop up labyrinth.
This space will offer participants and supporters involved in the “Nowhere to Run 5K” an opportunity to honour those impacted by domestic and sexual violence.
As a labyrinth facilitator and an Occupational Therapist my heart is for creating spaces where people feel safe to experience gentleness, rest, awe, contemplation and peace.
Labyrinth walking is simply a quiet intentional mindful walk.
We look forward to sharing the path with you. Sincere gratitude Men's Advisory Project North Down & Ards Women's Aid-028 91273196

Yesterday I had the honour and privilege of guiding 50 mental health professionals around this stunning labyrinth at the Dominican Retreat Centre in Tallaght, Dublin. Internal Family Systems practitioners from all over the island of Ireland found connection with themselves, each other, and this beautiful land of ours as we silently made our way around this sacred, meandering pathway. “Powerful!” “Profound!” “Beautiful!” .. some of the expressions offered to describe this experience. My heart is full 💜🙏🌀 (Julia)

Hats off to Julia Graham for all the measuring and designing!
Cannot wait to see it transformed! 💫
Can anyone guess the location?

🌀Do you ever have one of those days when things maybe don’t quite go as expected and yet you find yourself in the place that feels “just right”?
Yesterday was one of those days for me. I had some space open up in my schedule, so I decided to draw a labyrinth in the sand. Just as I was finishing up, I was pulled away by the cuteness overload of two little friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels 🐶. The conversation with the owners led to an explanation of the labyrinth and an invitation to walk around it. It felt like such an honour to engage in a sweet conversation as two of us meandered around the sacred path. And my heart was warmed by the gratitude and comment from the lady that she was “meant to be there” for that experience.
I then sent a message to a friend who lives close by to let him know the labyrinth was there, and the timing worked out perfectly for him to also avail of the circles in the sand before they were washed away by the incoming tide. He, too, offered gratitude for the opportunity to take some time out and turn in towards his own heart.
🌀May you find peace on your path today, even if leads you in an unplanned direction. May you be open to whatever unfolds, and make space for compassion and curiosity towards the tender spots inside. 🙏❤️
