Attending festivals and gigs should be memorable for the right reasons.

Excessive alcohol use can lead to serious health risks, impaired decision-making, and unsafe situations.

Your safety matters!

• Set a drink limit
• Eat before you drink
• Raise a glass, not a gallon
• Take a break from alcohol and stay hydrated
• Never leave a friend alone
• Arrange transport home

This has been a difficult week and I’m sure a lot of you are feeling sad, even frustrated. There is a sense of disbelief and disappointment at the regression but also fear for what might happen next. The PHA in this post reminds us all that we might need support for our emotional wellbeing. If you are finding life difficult please reach out for help and don’t try to do it alone.
Take care today and over the weekend. 🌸

Events over recent days can impact on mental health and wellbeing.

Everyone reacts differently, and that’s okay. Remember that support is available.

If you or someone you know needs support, our website provides helpful guidance and resources. Follow the link in the comments.

No single sign will indicate that your child is being bullied, but these are some things you can watch out for. 💚

Search ‘NSPCC Bullying’ for advice on what to do if you think your child is being bullied, or bullying someone else.

A graphic titled ‘Signs of bullying in children…’ and the following points in colourful blocks:
- A change in behaviour, including being nervous, losing confidence, or becoming distressed and withdrawn
- Belongings getting ‘lost’ or damaged
- A change in how they’re doing at school
- Asking for, or stealing, money (to give to whoever’s bullying them)
- Physical injuries, such as unexplained bruises
- Being afraid to go to school, being mysteriously ‘ill’ each morning, or skipping school
- A change in eating or sleeping habits
- Bulling others

If something you’ve seen online is affecting you, it’s okay to step away. Mute, unfollow or take a break from scrolling. Give yourself the space you need.

Remember to find your own pace and take the stairs to your goal one step at a time. Sometimes you have to stay on one stair for a bit and that’s ok too. You can do it.
