The Forest Gallery

believes we should build houses like trees and cities like forests. Rooted in this belief, they built a house high above the Escape forest, on a 50-metre rock, using only five natural materials. A house never glued or screwed—only wood embracing wood—which preserves its resources for at least another two generations. Not a single tree had to be removed. Instead, it found its place and became part of the forest in a circle where everything returns:

Forest. Art. Architecture. Human intention.

Coming together in an Original I am Escape Story, where Erwin Thoma’s craftsmanship and Fabian Knecht’s artwork from our Artist in Residence Program invite us to immerse ourselves in a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of all things.

What was once outside is now inside.

The resources remain.

The story continues.

A guided meditation experience inviting you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and simply let go.

Floating gently on the water, supported by an airbed and guided by a calming voice, you enter a space of deep relaxation and inner presence, surrounded by a breathtaking landscape.

Through gentle breathing techniques and mindful awareness, the outside world begins to fade away — leaving space to arrive within yourself.

Guided with presence and care by Michaela Schmalzl, our collaborator for the Wild Roots Blossom retreat, the breath becomes a key — opening the door to inner landscapes, releasing what no longer serves you, and creating space for clarity, connection, and transformation.

What is a Mystery Dinner?

An immersive Mystery Dinner that brings together unknown people around the same table, where nothing is as it seems.

This is not just dinner.
It’s an Escape Original interactive dining experience, and a journey into the unknown for 20 selected guests.

A five-course fine dining menu becomes the stage for clues: a ticking bomb, a stolen F1 car, a lost castle.

Guests step into a perfectly orchestrated adventure, guided by actors through a story that unfolds course by course.

By torchlight, guests explore an ancient castle, piecing together the mystery as they move through its hidden corners.
