Sama Vritti, or equal breathing, is one of the simplest yet most effective breathing practices for creating balance. By inhaling and exhaling for the same count, we signal safety to the body, calm the mind, and improve focus.

In 2026, stress isn’t just about doing too much , it’s about never truly switching off. A few minutes of conscious breathing can help regulate your nervous system, reduce anxiety, and bring you back to the present moment.

Try it today: inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 4 counts, and repeat for a few minutes.

3 things I’d tell you if I didn’t care about hurting your feelings:

1. You’re not getting weaker because you’re getting older. You’re getting weaker because you’re not training strength.

2. Muscle loss starts in your 30s whether you like it or not.

3. Waiting until you “feel motivated” is why you’re still waiting.

The goal isn’t to look a certain way.

The goal is to be able to carry your groceries, play with your kids, travel, hike, dance, and feel good in your body for years to come.
