5 years without Prof. Dr. Norbert Gutknecht.
A pioneer, a mentor, a lasting inspiration.

The science he built still guides every hand that reaches for a laser. Prof. Gutknecht did more than study dental lasers, he gave them their place in modern dentistry, turned early promise into proven practice, and made AALZ a global reference for laser dentistry education.

His work is not behind us, it lives around us: in every course we teach, in every clinician we train, in every patient whose treatment is safer and more precise because of what he proved.

Five years on, we miss the man, we honor the teacher and we carry his mission forward, exactly as he taught us, with rigor, passion, and purpose.

As the program continued, participants moved deeper into clinical application, scientific discussion, and hands-on experience, strengthening both their knowledge and confidence in laser dentistry.

In this second part of our student testimonials, MSc participants share how the program is shaping their clinical perspective, enhancing decision-making, and connecting them with an international community of like-minded professionals.

Through advanced education, collaboration, and shared experience, the MSc in Lasers in Dentistry continues to support clinicians in elevating their daily practice and expanding their professional horizons.

The Master Professional Exams and Graduation in SFU Vienna marked an important milestone for our candidates, celebrating dedication, knowledge, and clinical excellence in Laser Dentistry.

5 graduates from the 2023 program and 1 from 2022 successfully completed their final examinations, demonstrating strong academic background, clinical understanding, and commitment to advancing modern dental care.
