Fewer than one in four patients with oesophageal cancer survive five years – and more than 71% are already node-positive or metastatic at diagnosis. That makes staging, and the decisions that follow it, everything.
📚 Our new online course, 'Oesophageal Cancer,' covers the whole pathway: risk factors and surveillance, endoscopic and imaging workup, endoscopic resection for early disease, surgical strategy, and the biomarker-driven systemic options now available in the palliative setting.
Two clinical cases run throughout, anchoring the theory in practice: one early adenocarcinoma caught on Barrett's surveillance, one locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma.
