And with that… the chapter of Perth closes!

It was great covering 3 days a week for the past few weeks at Burswood health! This is a beautiful clinic with a great team!

Leaving Perth also meant the end of our pet sit! We loved looking after Jerry and will miss him lots!

Next step is back to Collie for a few days cover before we head north to start traveling again!

I had the amazing opportunity to cover in a beautiful clinic in the stunning Margate River for a week.
I was lucky enough to have some spare time to check out the local beaches and caves as well as see the point where the Indian and Southern ocean meet!

Collie, WA.
A weeks work down in Collie got me exploring Dams, Lakes and open mines. I even got to do photography for their website!

Collie is a small town with a big community feel! This practice has been looking after the community for nearly 30 years! It was an honour being part of the community for a few days and getting to spend some time with a fellow NZCC grad!
I’ll be back again in a week time!

Lake Grace WA
It was incredible getting to experience life in Lake Grace and getting to support the hard working community.
Lake grace is a rural township in the wheatbelt community in Western Australia.
I was only able to do 2 days locum here due to traveling and other commitments but I’m so glad we managed to make it work

A little life update

At the start of March my partner and I packed up our Adelaide life into a 2003 Pajero to embark on a road trip around Australia!!

Whilst this is super exciting it was also very hard to say goodbye to those we’d made a connection with!

We’re not too sure what the plan is but we do know we will make the most of every opportunity.
I’m hoping to do locum work while we travel to help communities without chiropractors and also help chiropractors take some well needed time off.

Why does an adjustment cause a clicking and popping sound?

When a joint is stretched quickly (as in a manual adjustment), the pressure changes and the gas is released creating a sound.

The click sound also known as a cavitation is not the most important part of an adjustment! It's the force, speed and how specific that force is! That's why tools like the activator are super effective as it's specific and fast.

Do you ever find your body or joints popping and clicking? That's ok many other people do too! It's totally normal for our joints to pop and click as long as it's pain free!!
There's many reasons why this happens! Imbalanced and tight muscles, joints and ligaments can cause popping as well as day to day movements making the gas bubbles pop!
