🔹 What You’ll Bring to the Team:
• A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Proven administrative skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• High level of computer literacy (Best Practice and Front Desk software knowledge is a plus)
• Sound understanding of Medicare MBS, Tyro, and HICAPS
• Outstanding time management, organisation, and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work both independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive work ethic
🔹 Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Overseeing the smooth running of daily practice operations
• Supervising and supporting the administrative team
• Coordinating staff rosters, managing leave and locum cover
• Managing inventory and ordering clinical and office supplies
• Handling patient enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Overseeing scanning, recalls, reminders, and patient correspondence
• Maintaining accurate and organised patient records
• Leading staff meetings, conducting performance reviews, and promoting a strong team culture
• Processing Medicare and Veterans Affairs batching and rejections
• Ensuring workplace health and safety and infection control compliance
🔹 What We Require:
• Current Police Clearance
• Up-to-date CPR certificate
• Understanding of medical terminology and the healthcare sector
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
