$275 for a 6 week Pregnancy/Birthing Program, run by a qualified and experienced midwife in Goodwood.

We cover an extensive list of birthing topics aimed to educate our birthing mums and partners on a range of birth pathways. We know all to well that birth doesn't always go to plan so our program aims to give mums strategies to try and work towards their ideal birth. We will talk through pain management strategies, explore breathing techniques, create a birth map/plan and engage in discussion of how to ensure you prepare mentally and physically for your dream birth. We also educate our families on a range of different types of birth, we do this so if you come up against challenges and your birth plan changes last minute you will be able to remain calm knowing you have the understanding and knowledge to navigate a range of different twists and turns and remain empowered and educated.

Our birthing program includes a session by a family councillor on how partners can best support during birth and postnatally so that the gravity of the role of our support people is communicated clearly.

That's not all, we also include an INFANT FIRST AID SESSION with an amazing first aid provider who specialises in working with families and children.

At Bump and Beyond we have tried to take a different approach to developing our birthing classes because we know that preparing for a new baby is multifaceted and not just about birth. We also know that birth can take some unexpected turns and this lack of knowledge in a variety of different pathways can lead to birth feeling disempowering and traumatic. The key is knowledge, understanding and your ability to make informed decisions.

Our birthing program covers 4 weeks of a range of different birthing topics. We cover everything from all your options of managing pain to all your options to deliver your baby.

We sit with you and help you write a birth plan/map so you can set your intentions but also have had the opportunity to discuss plans and actions if your birth changes paths and ask our birth educator questions.

We invite a family councillor in during a session to share the birthing experience from the partners point of view and provide some tips on how partners can support and thrive during the birthing experience because we know that birthing partners can play a KEY role in the success of your birth and beyond.

We organise an infant first aid class for you so you are equipped with life saving skills to keep your little one safe once they arrive. We want to help tick things off your baby prep list to save you time and energy. We want our birthing classes to feel like a one stop shop for all birth preparation.

We also arrange a mini photoshoot so you and your partner can have a photo to remember this important time, because if you are anything like me I only ever had photos of myself and I now wish I had some of me and my partner to look back on.

We also include a voucher for a free baby heart beat recording or mini pregnancy massage.

A goodies bag with some trial products to try at home.

Some afternoon coffee/tea and a beautiful venue to come and meet other couples all in the same stage of life.

But guess what? We're taking it up a notch! We know there are fantastic midwives, doulas, and prenatal/postnatal pros out there in our communities who know their neighborhoods best. 🏡💪

That's why we're thrilled to announce that we're opening the doors to our Bump and Beyond pre and postnatal education programs for YOU to run! 🏃‍♀️📚

Why, you ask? Well, it's simple. It's not about the money for us. It's about making our program accessible to even more families who need it. While expanding ourselves would be exciting we know that when you get the right people running our programs magic happens ✨ We believe in the power of pre and postnatal experts, and so many of you already do an incredible job in your own businesses.
