One thing I am especially proud of is that I am currently fully funding a Certificate IV in Mental Health study for current ATG staff members.

From late August, the Northern Adelaide Medicare Mental Health Centre will be expanding to two locations making it easier to access the right mental health support when you need it.

ℹ️Here’s what you need to know:ℹ️
IMMEDIATE SUPPORT
📍 7 Oldham Rd, Elizabeth South
Walk-in mental health support for people needing immediate assistance.
No appointment or referral required.

SHORT/LONG TERM SUPPORT
📍 21 Gillingham Rd, Elizabeth
Booked appointments for short to longer-term mental health support, including counselling, psychological therapy, peer support, group-based therapy, and care coordination.

LONG TERM - ONGOING SUPPORT

We support you to reach your NDIS goals within your own homes & local communities delivering support all across Adelaide to help manage your ongoing mental health conditions.

Among the gumtrees have a team of highly skilled staff to walk alongside you on your journey, with compassion, kindness & understanding.

we offer support that is trauma-informed & judgement free, here you are not required to mask, or water yourself down, at ATG we see the person behind the diagnosis and know that you are more than your hardest days.

If you are requiring multi-layered or complex supports, ATG have the skills to assist those with alcohol and other drug disorders, suicidal ideation, & other mental health complexities and psychosocial disorders.

What an incredible turn out yesterday for the Disability Expo at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

It was truly wonderful meeting everyone, hearing your stories and learning how we can tailor our services to better support the ever-changing needs of our vulnerable communities.

We are already counting down until the next expo . . .

Do you want to feel more confident using public transport?

Among The Gumtrees can support participants to attend a Try Before You Ride Day.

You can learn and practise how to:

• get on and off a bus, train or tram
• find your stop
• ask for help
• feel safer when travelling
• build confidence in the community

Our fantastic support workers will pick you up and come with you where we will support you at your pace.

This may help with NDIS goals around independence, travel skills and community access.

Try Before You Ride is back this July!

❓What: This free event is designed to help build confidence and skills for using public transport. If you or someone you know is preparing to use public transport for the first time or is living with an apparent or non-apparent disability, these events offer a welcoming and inclusive space to learn. You'll learn about safety, ticketing, accessibility features, using mobility devices on board and journey planning. A virtual reality headset experience will also be available to help build confidence.

📆When: Between 1:00pm and 4:00pm, Tuesday 28 July

📍Where: Playford Civic Centre
